Yanci’s Speech ;

 

Good morning ladies and gentlemen,staff,5th grade,and especially Mrs.Dietz and Mrs.German,which Mrs.German might be a principal in another school next year.If it wasn’t for these wonderful people we would not be here today at Daly ES.Im so honnored to be here today with all of these wonderful  people around me.

 

Today i’m gonna tell you a story of my life.Just a story of how i got here to this really special school with this really special teacher Mr.Fitz.

 

It started when i was born in El Salvador.I came to USA when i was 1 ½ years old.Before those years i had to stay with my grandma at El Salvador and my mom was here in Houston TX trying to get money  for me so i would have a good beginning of my life.My mom  went to Salvador to pick me up to take  me to Houston.I grew up, i was 4 years old I went to Pre-k and Kindergarten.We came to VA to see my grandma because she had lived with my Aunt.

 

We went to Va,i liked it there i wanted to stay .We stayed their ,I had to come knowing nothing i barely knew my Aunt and my 3 cousins.I went to school i was bullied because i didn’t know how to speak english and i didnt want it to affect me so i ignored it .I didn’t pay attention to it.I went to 2nd grade i knew how to read and write english and the bullying stopped.I had a great teacher in 2nd grade I went to 4th grade.The last year 5th grade but i didnt finish it at my old school.I finished here in Daly.The first day for me was awesome I got here late.My classmates were in P.E. I didn’t know anybody they all bunched  up to me and started talking to me.Since then i had a great few months with Mr.Fitz..We have done a lot of activities we have laughed a lot you can’t even imagine our paper ball fight with me and Mr.Fitz.# I won of course

 

Im looking in the future to going to high school and to middle school and having  almost the same start as i did here i Daly.

Career Essay : Surgeon

A surgeon Doctor is an important job that almost every career in the whole world in my opinion. Almost everybody in America needs a surgeon because people can have problems in their body and surgery can cure them from that disease i’m not saying that it will cure you it would be likely if it doesn’t cure you it’s a higher chance that you will last longer.That means that you will have more time to spend with your family and friend.

 

You can become a Surgeon doctor by getting a  bachelor degree.The minimum formal education for these occupations which is a really important thing to do so you will have the experience to know where every body part is at so if you are a doctor you know what medicine helps the disease.So that means it would be 4 years of medical school and 3 – 7 years of residents trainning .

 

The duties  for a surgeon doctor is to cure people by doing surgeries so other people could get cured or other people would lower the chance of dying quickly so they would have more time to  live with their family and friends.Sometime the surgeries actually cure them but they still have to take care of themselves after  because doctors don’t  know if the disease can come back.The doctors will still give them medicine after because they have to have a good life and a healthy life.

 

The salary is 90 dollars an hour which means the average salary is $187,200 which is enough for a house to live in food to eat and pay the bills and  rent for the house or to pay the house monthly.It is also enough to get more improvements in the house like paint maybe even bigger lika a pool and get more furniture! ,That is a good thing about being a doctor, you get payed well and you know that you are trying to save somebody’s life.

 

The equipments are a lot of cool stuff they use technical technology like they made glasses that tells them the birth date their name their blood pressure etc.They also use lasers robots so that means that they are already starting to exist so later in life there would be a lot of robots around.They are also using technology for knowing how the patient is doing knowing if the patient is getting too much blood out and if it’s dangerous for the patient.

 

 

Now you can see all the things that surgeon doctors have to do I think that in 20 or more years Surgeon Doctors will still be needed because nobody wants a robot to do surgeries because something might go wrong with the robot and they can do something that is not right.

The Seven Chairs by Yanci

            The Seven Chairs

 

It all started one day when the seventh chair landed in France. Their was a nun flying in the air or levitating. The  ministers saw it and they creeped out because they have never ever seen such a weird and scary thing……

 

The sixth chair landed at Australia it landed at a pool, everyone was scared because they’ve never seen that happening while it appears.They said that it looked like some magic dust or something appearing in the distance and the people that were right next to them freaked out.

 

Thump Thump Thump went the nun sitting in the fifth chair that landed at Houston,TX hitting the door, the owners didn’t know who was hitting the door.The owners opened it was a nun just sitting there standing right in their face. Ahhhhhh went the owner “who are you they said ” said ”I’m Evelyn”……..

 

Then the fourth chair landed in Canada it landed close to the Niagara  Falls it lt landed like 3 or 4 feet close to the water.There was a lot of tourist right then and there everybody just saw it in the middle of nowhere but their was nothing on it! .KABOOM KABOOM. AHHHHH AHHHHHH went all the people something really bad was happening………………….

 

The third chair landed in the middle of nowhere in Empty Quarter,Saudia Arabia it was just full of sand red beautiful sand nothing living. Nothing alive not even 1 single plant or animal nothing nothing nothing at all no water absolutely nothing but the one and only chair of wisdom was just sitting there.
The second chair and the first chair nobody in the world ever knew where it was or if it had anything in it the only person that did know died as soon as he saw it people say he got blind and then someone or something killed him all he felt was a hard stab and he e died or perished………..

Clear Spring Park

A negative and a really bad negative characteristic is people littering .People can see the trash and recycling bins right their and they don’t throw it in the  trash.They are basically ruining the place for animals because sometimes ducks or geese stay their because their is a pond close to the park so the ducks can die or something else.Another negative thing about people they smoking and little kids or kids playing the smoke that comes out of the cigarette is bad for the kid the people don’t care if they get tickets that the most important negative characteristic its even on the rule book.Clear Spring Park would be a wonderful and beautiful  park with people obeying the rules.

 

No make up snow days

Kids should not have to make up  snow days if school cancels it will be better because they won’t have to waste millions of dollars

on lights, gas, and water, you don’t have to pay workers to work for a long time.

 Schools have to pay the teacher every week and day that they attend to teach the students.  

 

Most schools issue’s are I pads and Laptop issues.

Some schools have already submitted grades on the grade book and they will have to add more grades and sometimes they will have to erase the students old grades.

It’s not the kids fault that it snows.

When it snows they take away summer days and they don’t let us spend the time that we want with our family and friend’s.
 The schools has issues with the internet and connections because the snow affects the connection with the internet because almost all of the store companies are closed.

    We don’t have enough time for break we only have 3 months for break and we do more than 8 or 9 months of school and it’s not fair for anyone in the school because we don’t have what we deserve to have.

Kids will have to do more work than what they already do during school and homework.  Schools give you more than 298 worksheet’s during school and homework. They would be like 1,000 or more dollars on just paper so they can copy all of our work.

Kids or families will have to cancel their summer vacation that they already booked for their first day of school and then they will have to pay all of that all over and they will have to use more money and plus if their whole family is going they will have to waste the money they already used and they will have to pay more than 1,000 dollars on tickets for the trip.

Some teachers have already submitted grades and they will have to erase all of that so they can add even more grades into the dumb grade book and that would be such a big thing for teachers because it more work and the county doesn’t pay the teachers the extra week that they work on.

That’s why I think that students should not have to make up school days because internet connection is horrible,the county uses more than 1 million dollars on light or electricity, water, air conditioning, gas, and especially  pay the workers because they really earn it they do so much work so they can clean the school and educate the students.
