No one should be able to claim the arctic because the resources will run out eventually and all the man made things used in order to get all the oil out will be bad for the ocean. One of the resources that will run out will be oil and if they are not careful enough than that can cause an oil spill that can harm wildlife living in the ocean.

My name is Briana and I go to Daly Elementary in Germantown, MD. I’m writing to you because whales should live happy like us humans do. Minke whales can get extincted because Japan has killed endangered whales. Japan has killed about 3,600 minke whales and kills hundreds of other whales each year for meat and oil. I know it is one of your traditions to hunt whales but if you don’t stop whales can be extincted.
