Career Opinion: Artist

Being an Artist is (Somewhat) important. There’s lots of art tools to use. Also, there’s no rules (except to not break/lose/damage the art tools) in art, so you can do whatever you want with art! Today we currently have paint brushes (tiny, small, medium, large, etc.), pencils and pens, yarn, crochet hook, fabric (to make clothes), etc. Around 1-3 decades, our art tools may get upgraded and get better and better.

In order to become an Artist, you will need to master the following subjects in school (elementary, middle, high (junior and senior).): Art (Obviously), Shop (this is where fabrics and yarn come in), and Home Ec. (Sewing Machines). You will also need a Bachelor’s, Master’s or a higher degree to become an Artist.

There are many tools for an Artist to use! The common tools an artist uses are: pens, pencils, paintbrushes, paint, markers, colored pencils, TONS of paper, and the list goes on.

Artists do have a salary as well, yet some earn more money than others. They receive up to $36,200 at minimum and $45,080 (also received per year) at maximum. Sometimes, Artists receive $42,950 per year.

Artists don’t just use Paint brushes and pencils, they also use art apps, like Photoshop. Using these apps, artists create digital art. This is why we find these weird cartoony kiddie drawings on kids magazines and newspaper. I hate that stuff.

In conclusion, like I said on the introduction, art is (somewhat) important. Yet from 20 years/2 decades from now, art will TOTALLY go to the next level. As if instead of paintbrushes there will be electronic paintbrushes. Art is also like “creativity” with a side order of “hobbies”, “entertainment”, and “peace/love”. You get to have fun making art, when you’re ACTUALLY working. There’s many ways you can do art, and there’s NO RULES in art! Now, let’s enter the rainbow world of art.
