In my opinion, the police shall give a fine/fee of no more than nearly $10,000 to drunk drivers due to drinking too much and getting in the car after drinking, not only that, but smoking in the car (WITH KIDS IN THE CAR) shall be banned. (I have to admit I’m actually glad the government didn’t ban smoking, since that smokers will smoke inside their houses…)

DRINKING IS BAD. Why? Drinking alcohol is bad enough, but once you get in the car and start DWI (Driving While Intoxicated), man, something TERRIBLE could happen when you get caught by the police. Warning: There is 99% chance that police could detect alcohol in your breath.

Obviously, Some of us humans were curious: What would happen if the police does catch you with alcohol on your breath? Well, you get arrested if the blood alcohol content (BAC) is .08% or higher. Yet you have to take the very-ridiculous-and-embarrassing test (Hopping on one foot, telling the alphabet (A,B,C), etc.), Sorry, but you have to or get sent to court (WARNING!: Lawyers!!!)

The result is a jail time as well (besides court). A jail time is set due to how much blood alcohol content is on your breath (low, normal, high). Here it is!:

• Low: 6 months-1 year
• Normal: 9 months- 1 year
• High: 1 year- 3 years

Sometimes, Life is never fair, especially if you are drinking while driving (Never Drink while driving).
In conclusion, Drinking isn’t good, and you will get sent to court if you don’t do the very-ridiculous-and-embarrassing test. Which, is why police officers should give a fine/fee of no more than $10,000 to drunk drivers.
