Devonis’s winter break was as fun as watching a snail getting to it’s destination! (I think’s you get the sarcasm.) But Devonis’s winter break was actually fun! He went bowling and ice skating and stayed home playing video games! Let me tell you about the bowling! 

Devonis woke up on a Wednesday and did his regular morning routines. He made his cereal and started eating. (Now I can see that everything seems boring now but just wait!) When he finished eating he went right back to bed! (Just kidding!) He actually went on his Xbox and started playing Minecraft with his friends. After an hour of playing he went on Netflix watching “Mighty Morphan Power Rangers” season 2. (Devonis is a big Power Rangers fan by the way.) After about 2 episodes his mom told him to turn the TV off and get his jacket and put on his shoes. Devonis asked his mom what was going on. (These were his exact words.)

“Why do I have to put on my shoes?” Devonis asked.

His mom replied, “You’ll see!”

Devonis did what his mom said and they both walked out the door and into there car.

1 hour later!

It was one hour and Devonis was a sitting duck. He was about to flip if he wasn’t there in 2 minutes.

2 minutes later!

It was 2 minutes and do you know what happened?! (Read the last paragraph if you don’t know.) You guessed it! He flipped! Devonis immediately asked him mom how much longer it was going to be.

“Mom, when are we getting there?” Devonis asked impatiently.

“We were hear 40 minutes ago.” Devonis’s mom answered his question.

Devonis’s face was as red as a cherry! (Trust me, sitting in a car for an hour isn’t good. That’s why I got this narrating job to pass the time!) His mom explained why they were sitting an a car for 40 minutes.

“We are waiting for your cousins S-”

(Now lets stop here, I’m not telling you guys Devonis’s cousins name. Lets just say Sally and Jason. Hmm, your wondering how I know there real names? Uh, lets just say I have my ways. I totally don’t stalk them or anything. Uh, I mean, uh, lets get back to the story!)

“We are waiting for your cousins Sally and Jason. You know how they live 2 states away.” Devonis’s mom explained.

“Oh.” Devonis calmed down.

Their cousins came 10 minutes later in there mom’s car.

“Sorry we took so long.” Jason apologies.

“It’s fine.” Devonis said to Jason.

When Devonis finally saw the sign he was in shock! The sign was as bright as the sun! It said

“Bowling”!

Devonis never went bowling before!

“This is your Christmas present!” His mom said.

Devonis was about to break into tears but he didn’t. He pulled Sally, Jason, and his mom in the place. His mom payed for the food and the drinks and after they ate they played. (BTW Jason and Sally was a few days older than Devonis. Well only one of them. Jason was the oldest, Sally was the youngest, and Devonis was in the middle. HEY STOP CALLING ME A STALKER! I’M NOT! SERIOUSLY! STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT! BACK TO THE STORY!) They played for 2 hours. It was Devonis’s best time of his life! (Other than watching that snail.)

They left and Devonis went on his Xbox and told his friends about his Christmas present! After a few hours it was night and he went to sleep.

5 days later he went back to school and learned some stuff and standing right next to me while I’m writing this! He says that he is ready for tomorrow!
