Today’s year was 2020, I found an old map on the Watkins Mill high grounds. I called Carla.K, Paola.C, Lionel.M, Bryan.M, Devonis.N, and Brandon.C.
“I think I found a treasure map!”I said in excitement.
“Go to Lionel’s room”
Carla, Paola, Lionel, Bryan, Devonis, and Brandon says “Cool, well go!”
We all went to Lionel’s room. I laid the old map on the desktop I said “ Hey Lionel can you locate Piney Branch’s forest?”
“Sure… here it is!”
Declared Lionel. We all huddle around the computer and we went to the exact location.
Once we got their Paola gasped “I’m not going, don’t you guys know what happened here?”
“No?” I questioned.
“It was on every news channel!
“We don’t watch the news.”
“Well, kids just like us went in, but never came out!”
“But the map says we have to go in Paola.”
“Fine,I’ll go then.”Paola mummered.
We went to Home Depot with money from selling lemonade stand, we got supplies for camping and other stuff too! Once we were ready we went into the forest.
It was a dark, big ,cold,and we all were scared.
Carla said “alright we must go north for 90 miles than 140 miles east.”
After 3 days of being in the forest we were about to give up. But just then Devonis saw a huge cave!
“It has a face carved on it!” Brandon and Bryan said at the same time.
After 7 hours we finally got to the faced cave, we were all happy and we slept in the cave overnight. The next day we all woke up around the same time. We all were excited about the treasure, we got the flashlights, the helmets, and the first aid kit.
We found this old statue at the end of the cave. Devonis saw the heart on the old statue glow. We all tried to grasped at it at the same time, then we saw the glow split into sevenths. We tried to get our hands off of the statue but our hands were stuck! The glow moved onto our hands and it went into our heart, after that our hands got unstuck after a while our body’s started to change Carla, Paola, and I turned into FAIRIES!!!!!! The boys turned into PIXIES. After one step in the faced cave it started to shake,rocks were falling we all thought we were going to die!
Carla found a spell book in her floes, she yelled “magical shield!”
She thought it would shield all of us too, but it only covered her. We all vanished except for Carla, she found a spell that could revive us all. Carla said the words to turn us back. We all hugged Carla and thanked her so much! After a long time we all cheered when we saw light and our families. We all ran to them. Since we all were very happy we trance formed back into the fairies and pixies. And our parents were freaking out when they saw us different than ourselves. They were about to turn us into the authorities.
But then my mom said “That wouldn’t be fair for us it might not even be our fault that we are like this, they…” She told the rest of the parents
“just like us when we were there age.”My mom mumbled.
After dinner we went to the metal orientation! We said Carla was the leader, Lionel is the genius, Paola is the artist, Bryan is the jokester, Brandon is the wild one, Devonis is the fighter, and I am the bait. We have our metal’s and we are proud of them too!
