Just Desert

Attem Avenue was a weird place where there was NO GRASS, barely any trees .There was a green house. The owner’s name was Lauren.

Lauren was 28 years old had one child named Lindsey. Lauren speaks Italian, but not much English, she had long blonde hair. Lauren was a widow.

Lindsey was a girl with long curly blonde hair. She was 7 years old but Lindsey spoke perfect English not much Italian. She goes to Dipson Oak Elementary School.

Lindsey had a field trip to the Roseville’s pumpkin patch.

Lindsey had to learn a lot about the biggest pumpkin in the world. Halloween was coming up, that’s why.

When Lindsey got to the pumpkin patch she found out the largest pumpkin weighs 911.27 kg and that it takes 105 days for a pumpkin to fully grow.

When Lindsey came home from school she asked her mom “Mom, tomorrow can we go to Roseville’s pumpkin patch.”

Lauren said “Yes.”The next day Lauren woke up extra early for a surprise.

When Lindsey woke up she went down stairs and she didn’t see her mom. So she decided to go back to bed. A few minutes later Lauren came back.

She called Lindsey and said that she had a surprise for her. But Lindsey had fallen asleep. So Lauren let Lindsey sleep a little more.

Lindsey woke up and wondered if mom was back?

She saw a pumpkin on the counter, it was huge and it looked really rare.

“MOM!” Lindsey yelled.

“YES!” Lauren shouted.

“What is this huge pumpkin doing on the counter?” Lindsey said.

“Well when I came home I yelled out your name and said I had a surprise for you but you were still sleeping” Lauren said.

“When I had woke up you weren’t home so I went back to sleep” Lindsey said.

“Oh, but I guess you already saw the surprise I got you” Lauren said.

“Yes, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you,” Lindsey said giving Lauren a big huge hug.

10 days had passed. It was October 30.

“1 more day till Halloween.” said Lindsey.

Lauren and I went to the store to buy Halloween costumes and Halloween decorations on Sunday. When they got home they put up the new decorations. The house looked dark and scary.

Lauren decided to bake a pumpkin pie because Lindsey decided not to put the big scary pumpkin outside.  Lauren got a knife to cut the pumpkin. It began to glow but Lauren hadn’t seen it.

When she lowered the knife it grew even brighter.

Lauren got scared so she yelled out,” Lindsey!”

Lindsey came quickly and jumped.

Lindsey was scared. She got a large and sharp knife and she stabbed it into the pumpkin.

The pumpkin just shrank and it turned into a mini pumpkin.

Lindsey was scared at the moment but, she knew that it was Halloween tomorrow. She was worried that she was going to dream about the pumpkin.

Lindsey slept great. She woke up and ran downstairs, and had her breakfast. She went to school dressed as a dark angel. She had the scariest, but greatest Halloween ever.

Another Place Another Time

There was a family that’s running away because there was a storm coming. It’s the 1800’s. They build transportation rail roads out of high carbon steel alloy and the rail car was made out of wood, steel, metal, and cloth. There was a castle far a way that they’re going to. The people had to go around the ocean on a very cloudy day. They used the cloth as a sail to push them to the castle.

“We are here!” said the father.

The house was filled water.  Lightning struck, they were seeing if there someone was in the castle. Nobody was there.

“There’s a basement.” said the mother.

They went down stairs. The storm was finally over. When they went outside the rail road and the rail car were destroyed. They had no way to get back home.

The dad went to search the castle’s workshop for materials to build a new boat and to find a new way home.

“Why is dad going there?” said the oldest child.

“If there was an answer, he’d find it there” mom replied.

“I would like to check-out the Plant Mystery please’’, she said as she was grabbing her library card

“Oh, you don’t want that book sweetheart”, and grabbed it from her

“Why not?”

“It’s just the people who check out the book never come back”harris book plant

“Then how do you get the book back?”

“We buy them every year”

“Whatever!” She grabbed the book back from her.

Then Holly vanished. She waited and waited then finally a new librarian came, she ran up to the desk.

“May I check out this book please?” as she once again took out her library card.

“Sure honey.’’

“Thank you, bye.”

“Bye.”

As Holly walked away the first librarian said she had warned her about the book.  Now it’s too late.

She walked home.  She found her dad in the laundry room.

“Hi dad, look at my book.”

“The Plant Mystery, that’s a really good title.” he said.

“Oh, here are your pajamas” he said while handing me my purple pajamas.

“Thanks.”

She ran up to her room and put on her favorite pajamas.  She grabbed her book and started to read it. One hour later she fell asleep with the book open. That is when it started to grow.

Two hours later her dad came in and saw the plant all over the room.

Then he yelled, “Holly, Holly!”

She woke up and saw her dad.

“What is this? HELP ME! HELP ME!” She screamed

Her dad ran down stairs and grabbed the scissors. Her dad cut her free but then he got sucked into the plant.

“Dad, dad!” yelled Holly.

He and ran away. Was never seen again.

The very next day she returned the book and said the legend was a lie

The Third-Floor Bedroom

 

It all began when someone left the window open, on a spring morning on April 12, 2003.

A boy named Dylan was eating breakfast, when all of a sudden the bus came. He ran to the bus stop. When he ran he felt like something was missing. But, he wasn’t worried.

When he got on the bus he had remembered that something it was that he had left his window open.

Meanwhile at Dylan’s house the doves that were painted on his wall wanted to scare Dylan because Dylan has bad dreams about the doves.

The doves wanted revenge. One by one each dove was getting off the wall to steal Dylan’s heart and mind. So that Dylan could turn into a bad child.

After school he was fine he played video games and ate dinner, and then it was time for him to go to bed.

He dreamed badly about the doves again but, this time his dream was worse than the last one. He had dreamed about him going to change his personality. When he woke up he was scared and also worried.

Dylan thought, “Could it be my friends who are going to change my personality?”

When he got to school his friends said “Dylan come with us.”

Dylan didn’t answer instead he ran.

“DYLAN” said his friends again shocked.

“What’s up with Dylan” said Lucas one of Dylan’s friends.

“He’s acting different” says Kevin.

“We have never seen him like this” says Lucas.

“What should we do to help him?” say all of them.

During lunch Dylan didn’t look at his friends he had moved far away from them.

Then all of the doves flew into his mind but, in spirits then Dylan starts acting different then he was before.

His teacher asked Dylan, “Dylan why are you acting differently you haven’t even started your work.”

Dylan didn’t answer.

His teacher says again “Dylan I’m talking to you!”

The bell rings. Dylan leaves class.

After class Dylan’s teacher talked to the principal about Dylan’s behavior. The principal promised Dylan’s teacher that she would talk to Dylan’s parents.

Before school ended Dylan’s principal talked to his parents and his parents said that they would talk to Dylan as soon as he got home from school.

When Dylan came home from school Dylan told his parents what had happened with the doves was wondering if he should tell his mom about the whole personality changing thing.

His mother said “Why didn’t you tell me before like when you were dreaming about the doves?”

Dylan didn’t answer.

Dylan’s dad asked Dylan “Dylan, do you want to go to a psychiatrist”.

Dylan said “Will that help me with anything?”

Dylan’s dad said “They will help you to try to forget about the doves and also will help you change your personality back to the way it was before”.

After 3 weeks of Dylan going to the psychiatrist he got better and he could hang out with his friends again.

Archie Smith, Boy Wonder

In a small town called Iowa City a child named Archie was born.

10 Years later…
Archie’s mom has died and Archie now lives with his poor dad. Archie has been depressed due to his mom’s death. Without his mom he felt like not being alive. He finds out the have to move. Archie doesn’t want to move away from his friends.  He is moving to Dove Street East Fork Arizona. Before Archie can leave he has to pack up all of his stuff. As Archie is going through the stuff he needs to put in boxes he finds a pictures of his mom. He just cries. His Dad gets worried because he hasn’t seen Archie in about a half hour.

Dad yells “let’s go Archie”

“ok” Archie says in a moaning voice

This trailer is an old trailer. The trailer he lives in was built in 1989. Archie goes through the house/trailer to find a room. The room he picks feels weird to him. Well its kind of normal because he has an active imagination. He thinks the room might be possessed with demons. Archie and his Dad went to go get food. I wanted to go to Mc Donald’s

Dad said “ok.

Archie just went through the drive through because he didn’t want to go inside. It is time to go back home.
We got in a car accident because a driver slammed a tree and hit our car. The other driver was ok but Archie was not. The car that hit the tree had been hardly damaged but our car was dead and couldn’t be driven. Luckily Archie’s dad was able to get a rental car. The ambulance arrived and took Archie to the hospital. Archie suffered a head cut and he needed 15 stitches. He was in the hospital for 3 entire weeks. Archie’s dad was with him the whole time. After those 3 weeks Archie was released at 9:00 sharp right at his bedtime.

On the way home Archie about fell asleep 3 times. Archie was so tired that his dad could feel how tired he was. Every five minutes Archie’s dad would look up and he is almost asleep. As soon as Archie gets home he likes stumbles out of the rental car they are borrowing and heads inside. Archie goes to his room and puts on his pajamas. Archie still doesn’t feel right about his room but because he so tired he just hops into his bed.

A tiny, but sinister, voice asked, “Is he the one?”        harris lights

The Seven Chairs “The fifth one ended up in France”

 

A spiritual person sent 7 chairs to 6 different churches, and one chair to a different place that wasn’t a church.

Sunday evening in St. Patrick’s Church the nuns, priest and the acolytes were getting ready for the 5:00 p.m. mass. Before people were getting in, a nun was wondering why a mysterious chair  was in the confession room because the chair should not be there.

After the mass the nun was waiting for people to leave. After they’re all gone, she went back to get the chair and when she put it down she saw a light coming from the ceiling. She kept staring at it, it got brighter until a face appeared and started to talk to the nun

and she replied to it.

On the next day, in St. Mary’s Church the people who attended mass went home and the people who work for the church is going to get  lunch, a nun who is about to go get lunch got a phone call from somebody but she didn’t answer it, while she’s getting out from the church she stopped and looked at a mysterious chair that she never seen before, when she touched it a light coming from the ceiling was just so bright until she noticed a face appeared and heard something and replied to it.

 

The 3rd chair was in the St. Joseph Church and the 4th chair was in St. Stephen’s Catholic Church where the bright light with the face appeared when the nuns touched it

 

and sat on it.

The fifth one ended up in France.  Where the nun sat on the chair and then saw the bright light.  That shows some little babies on a church with a lady that she is familiar with.

The 6th chair was in St. Johns Church and the nun just saw the chair and sat on it so she can pray, right after she sat a light flashed and it kept getting brighter and brighter until a face appeared and heard a message that only the nun can hear it.

The 7th chair was in Lourdes, France, where a nun was about to go home but before she does she stop at the grotto where the statue of Mother Mary was under a rock cave and in front of those are some benches and beside that is a chair where the nun sat and

 

while praying a dazzling light and a figure all dressed in white gave a message to the nun.

After a week, all 7 nuns went to a particular church and when they are all in there they prayed and another nun came out from a room and inviting them to come in.

The nun asks them “Do you still remember me?”

 

The 7 nuns were so confused until the nun told them that they are all sisters.

 

The nun told them a story about their mom. She was her friend and that all of you were raised by nuns and being adopted by different families and that is why you don’t get to see each other.

And all of them ask the same question, why all of us get to come to the church at the same time?
