The City Of Ember book cover

December 18, 2015 /

I choose the design of my book cover because in the book of the city of ember they are under ground that is why i did black for the bottom because they are under ground.   I also did blue for the top because the people of the  city of ember always had a black sky.  And in the new city they were on top so they had a blue sky.  I did a flag for the city of ember and for the new city because the city of ember is its own place and they are gonna want people to know that  the city of ember exist.  Also the reason why i did the new city because almost everybody knows because they are on top and not underground.  That is why i did black and blue and flags for my frisson of the book cover.

The 4th Amendment

December 1, 2015 /

I choose the amendment 4 because if you didn’t do nothing they don’t have the right to check your body.  When the police stops you can say no for them checking your car or your body or you are at your house they can search your house they can check anything in till the jury says they can.  If you did do the crime or not they do not the right to check your car or anything without the jury saying they can.   Also if you have a clean record and if your car doesn’t smell like anything like a drug or anything that is not illegal and the police calls the jury the jury can say no to check your car.  This is why i think the 4th amendment is the most important amendment.    

 

DESTRAX.VS.PRISCILLA By:Daniella

Myth art (1)It was the year November 31st 2025 Priscilla and Destrax there are enemies they hated each other.   Priscilla was the goddess of kindness and happiness.   Destrax the god of evil and destruction  one day they bumped into each other.

Priscilla yelled “Wait, I want to talk to you about our differences.”

Destrax whispered   “OK.”

Destrax blurted “I don’t care about our differences I  just want you to go.

to the underworld with me i want you to be my queen.”

Priscilla was speechless. She had no words, she was shocked.

“Destrax declared “What do you think?”

“Priscilla guessed “Maybe.”

“Destrax yelled why do you say maybe.”

“Priscilla informed because you are evil  i am good  we are complete opposites.”

“Destrax utter OK”

“Priscilla replied  let me think about it.”

The next day Priscilla tries not to see Destrax but it doesn’t work.

“Desxtrax mentioned  have you made your decision.”

“Priscilla guessed  yes.”

“Destrax asked what is it?”

“Priscilla guessed that i might go to the underworld with you.”

“Destrax asked great when you will you be ready to go?”

“Priscilla informed in 20 minutes.”

“Destrax replied  great.”

The moment Priscilla started to pack so was changing her mind more and more right when she was done. Priscilla  meet to go to the underworld.Priscilla told Destrax I don’t want to go the underworld.  Destrax was furious  that she changed her mind.
“Priscilla said if you want me to be your queen we have to get married it has to be on land not at the underworld.”

The moment Priscilla said that Destrax was so mad he killed Priscilla. Everyone was wondering what happened to Priscilla but only one person knew what happened because they were there when it happened.

The day after Priscilla died the men told the town what happened.  Priscilla family were shocked that Priscilla trusted Destrax.

One year later Priscilla family was still sad but they are starting to get over

with but Priscilla will always be in our hearts.

Energy Opinion By Daniella

I think that solar energy is better then wind energy because solar energy it does not cost  that much as a wind turbine and it is is scary because you would feel like it will fall on you and with solar panels  will not fall on you because  it is on the roof and solar panels would look cool on the roof and it will save money for Daly because it does not cost as much money as wind turbines.  Solar panels do not put a negative impact to the earth if Daly puts solar panels will not put impact the environment and wind turbines will impact the earth because when birds fly by the wind turbines they are going to get hit because wind turbines are 100 ft in the air.  That is why i think wind energy is better then wind energy.  

Charlie 4 Icon Challenge

4 Icon Challenge - Daniella Lopez

 

We had to find 4 picture that describe Charlie and the  Chocolate Factory and i chose a chocolate bar because Mr.Willy Wonka made chocolate bars and charlie got a chocolate bar every year on his birthday.   Also  i did a little cottage because Charlie lived in a cottage because they were very poor.   Also i did a golden ticket because Mr.Willy Wonka put golden ticket in 5 chocolate  bars and charlie found a golden ticket.  Finally i did a chocolate  factory because the 5 children that  found the golden ticket got to take a tour of the chocolate factory so that is why i did all of those pictures to describe Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Solar energy is only available when the sun comes out.  Solar energy is produced by the sun  

Solar Energy By-Daniella

Solar energy comes from the sun.  Solar panels on your roof capture sunlight and converts it to electricity.  The electricity is stored in batteries to  provide energy to make the lights  go on and power your house.

Costs and Material

It can be very expensive to buy and install the panels and other things needed to use solar electricity and solar panels need to be in a open space where the solar panels can catch sunlight sun battery storage system. Solar energy kits have the junction boxes, panels, wires, and batteries.  You can even plug in your phone’s into a USB port for a quick charge.

Environmental Impacts

Solar energy is clean. We do not have to  take away from our planet to get it. That means no drilling and no mining.  We don’t have the destruction of habitats and accidental pollution that happens when drill for oil or mine of coal.It is also safe for the environment when we use it.       Solar energy does not make greenhouse gases or any other type of pollution to be released in our environment.

In conclusion, solar energy is a renewable resource that you can get whenever the sun comes out.

 

 

   

The Girl That Can Time Travel

When Katie came back from school Katie was very tired Katie’s mom was sitting on the couch waiting. ”Katie’s mom asked Katie to sit on the couch.”

Katie said “OK.”

Katie’s mom blurted out “I can time travel!!!”

When Katie heard that she was extremely happy and she was not tired anymore.  

Katie was really happy that her mom could time travel and Katie wanted to try it out herself  that is how Katie’s mom had a idea to give Katie the power to time travel.  When Katie was sleeping Katie’s mom went in her room to give Katie her time travel powers.

When Katie woke up it was not like every day she was not in her room she was 300 years in the past.  She tried calling her mom but  then she realized that there is no phones in the past.  They had not been invented yet.  There was one thing that Katie’s mom forgot to do is to tell her in her ear how to control time travel when Katie was in the past she went to a lab to see how to get in the past.  But she saw another person that can time travel and she wanted to change the past that looked Katie’s age which is 11 years old.

Katie stood up and said “Don’t change the past the past it is past is great as it is.”

Priscilla was not listening.  Katie and Priscilla were fighting about who was right about time travel but what they both did not know was that there was a master of time travel.  That was watching them fight and he finally himself showed himself to them and he said that i will take away your time travel powers but before I do you must go back where you came from

Katie and Priscilla were very sad that they lost their powers but they did  realize that it was amazing that they got their powers taken got their taken away because they became really got friends and 5 years after they got there time travel powers taken away the master was watching them.

Again because after they got there time travel powers taken away he kept an eye on them to see if they deserve to get there powers  again and they do because they have being really responsible and really nice with each other one day when they were in Katie’s room the master of time travel showed himself once again and they totally forgot about him they were shocked to see him.

Right when they saw the master they knew exactly who it was and they were mad at him but the

“master said i am here to give you guys good news this time.”

“ Katie and Priscilla said OK we are listing.”

The master of time travel said “I am here to give you guys the power to time travel.”

Katie and Priscilla were really  happy that they were getting their powers

said “Thank you so much.”

And since then they were really responsible with their powers and always did stuff together but the master still had an eye on them still.

My First Post

Dear 5th Grade,

I want to learn new stuff in class and to good grades and do my best at all times also never give up when something is really hard. my goals in 5th grade are to make new friends that are new and help people that need help on something and be a great portal and get a daily golden bulldog award.
