The story i’m reading is about a spy named Nathan hale, in the colonial times who spies on the british. When he is about hung in the gallows a big book called {the big huge book of american history} swallows him whole. Now that he was swallowed he tells 2 people that were about to hang him {the provost, the hangman} what he saw in that book after it swallowed him. He tells them when he saw his life time, when he went to yale university, how he broke windows at yale. When he went to the army, how George Washington was genral and how the had to attack genral howe’s army {A.K.A the british} so they could be free and not to obey the kings orders. Lets just say, as Nathan hale being a spy in the colonial time spying on the british, That proves Nathan Hale was a (rebel) Someone who is tired of following the rules. The weird thing is that while Nathan Hale was telling the provost and the hangman what he saw in that book, no one was paying attention that Hale was supposed to be hung by that time.
