This book is about a boy named Ricky, who was has a terrinle fear of dogs.because when he was youger he got attacked by a dog with rabies.He had to get so many painful shots and stiches to heal him.While Ricky was in a barn he saw a sick dog.He was scary but help the dog. He had the dog for about a week and he named him kitty.His mom and dad were so happy that he was over his fear.One night his dad had got a call form his sister that she was in a big crash and her son died.So his dad said that he was going to see her. The next day ricky was looking for a cow and her baby he look all over the farm and than he looked in the barn and saw that the 4 wild doges had attack the cow and her baby.Ricky was scaryed because the doges were attacking kitty.He than run home to his mom.Later he run out to find kitty he was just a liitle hurt he said to himself.The end got me so mad and sad because kitty died and Ricky was so sad because kitty helped him got over his fear.
