Leon wanted to move into a house with three floors. When he was walking across the street he saw people moving out of a house.

Leon ran up to them and said “Are you guys moving in or moving out?”

They were dead silent. They just put their bags in their car and drove across the street and out of Crystal Street.

Leon saw the house that they moved out of.  He noticed that it had three floors.

Leon was happy but he wondered.  Why the family moved out of the house immediately. But he harris birdsdidn’t care. He ran home and told his Mom and Dad.

“Why do you want to move out of our house and move into the other one?’’ said mom.

Dad said “Ok.”

But it was in 5 more days. Leon couldn’t wait to move but he waited until it was moving day.

Moving day came and Leon was going miss his old house but it was time for his family to upgrade from two floors to three floors. Mom went to the office to see if her family could move into the house on Crystal Street. The manager gave her the keys and they went to Crystal Street.

Leon was still wondering about the reason the people moved out?

Leon was worried about the house. He wanted to move in but he wanted to find out why the people moved out but they left so it was too late for that.  Mom put the key in the slot and twisted it and Leon went in to explore the house. He started from the bottom floor and went to the top. At the top was a bedroom with bird wallpaper. Leon asked his parents if he can have the bedroom with Claire. Claire is a Newfoundland. Mom got Claire a doggy bed and Leon put his stuff into the bedroom.

Leon realized the birds on the wall were doves. The bird he was researching for his school project. Leon went to go in the backyard to go see the items that were out there. Leon thought his family could grow flowers in the yard.

Sunset was almost here.  Leon got ready for bed.  He opened the window to see the sunset. Leon fell asleep and left the window open.

It all began when he left the window open. The doves suddenly started to get off the wall and flew out of the window and coming back every 5 minutes.

Leon was getting ready for school at 7:30 am. When Leon went to school he realized that he left the window open.  He had to wait until the end of the day to close the window.

At 2:02 pm Leon ended his day and went home and met a girl named Rebecca.

When he went home he saw a dove on his shelf. He was glad that he was new to Hollywood. But not glad about the dove in his room

Leon wondered. How a dove got into his room? Leon caught the dove.  He realized a dove on his wall was missing.  He realized that the dove in his hand was the one missing on his wall. Leon freaked! He put the dove back on the wall and closed the window.

“Now I know why the people moved out of this house.” said Leon in a scared voice.

Leon was so frightened that he fell asleep around 3:18 am. He wanted to change the color of his wallpaper to blue his favorite color.

“Sure why not.” said Mom and Dad.

They got painting supplies and got to work. After a few hours the room looked better than it looked before. Leon was happy. Now without the doves around he could get some rest. Leon saw a dove out on his window sill. He opened the window and let him in. Claire started barking and Leon told her to be quiet and gave her a doggy treat. She calmed down. Leon let the dove free and put the dove is out where it belongs: outside not in some room on a wallpaper.

When Leon went to school it was the last day of school. Leon really couldn’t wait until summer vacation. But Leon saw a dove on his desk. Leon thought that he would get in trouble so he put it in his desk. Then he pecked his beak on Leon’s arm. Leon went unconscious. He woke up and he was at his house. He forgot what had happened. Leon was trying to remember what happened. But he couldn’t. He thought that he had lost his memory.  In a few hours he remembered what happened. The dove hurt him but how? He found the dove and researched it. Claire barked at the dove. Leon gave her a doggy snack and she calmed down.

Leon didn’t found out what kind of dove it was.

Leon went to school the next day and went to the library to get some books about doves. Leon finally found out what kind of dove it was. It was the North American Dove. Leon wanted to see one in person, even though he had already saw one.

Leon learned an important lesson to never open the third floor window again.
