My name is Scott from the colony of Maryland. I’m Leaving England. I will be joining the Patriots. Here are the reasons I’m leaving England I get freedom, independence, freedom of choice, live freely, independent choices, and I will have a right to do what I want. I am leaving because of the Boston Massacre. The killing of innocent and unarmed men and women is unacceptable, and plain horrible just horrible. Your men killing the innocent is unbearable and sickening. I am now leaving England and will become a patriot unlike your cruel redbacks. I will have a good or at least a better life as a patriot. I will be happy in my home land and to fight with it. I will be taking my family and friends with me so the are out of your reach. If you can’t harm my friends or family the you can’t harm me either.I am leaving England and that is final. Good by King George.
