The Food Safety Movement

Food Safety affects everyone buying food in the United States.  Everyone wants food to be safe, and clean.  The time was 1880 when people noticed that food was not too safe.  Illnesses from food can do more than just make you sick.  Illness from food keep people from working and earning money for their families.  Because of the Food Safety movement, you can buy food for your family that is safe and clean.

 

Louis Pasteur inventor, scientist, microbiologist, and chemist, invented  materials and machines to make food safe.  Louis Pasteur was born on December 27, 1822, in Dole France.  Louis Pasteur is famous for discovering materials and ways to make food safe.  Louis Pasteur died in 1895 his paralysis had worsened after his stroke in 1868.  His death was September 28, 1895, in Marne’s la Coquette, France.

 

Louis Pasteur was not a  farmer he just makes food safe.  In 1854 Louis Pasteur was appointed professor chemistry and dean of the science faculty at the university of Lille he worked on finding problems then coming up with solutions. Louis Pasteur invented a process where bacteria could be removed by boiling and then cooling liquid.

 

Louis Pasteur born on December 27, 1822, in Dole France, Louis Pasteur was not a bright student when he was in Elementary School years.  He was more interested in fishing and drawing. After Louis Pasteur completed his degrees in letters and mathematical sciences, Louis Pasteur joined the most esteemed French university Ecole Normal Superior in Paris for graduation.  In 1847, Louis Pasteur completed his Doctorate of science.  Louis Pasteur was appointed at physics professor at Dijon high school.  In 1848 and later Louis Pasteur moved to the University of Strasbourg as professor of chemistry.  
Louis Pasteur’s scientific and medical accomplishments include cure for rabies, anthrax, chicken cholera, and silkworm diseases.  He also contributed towards developing first vaccines and provided logical grounds for fermentation and brewing.   Louis Pasteur want’s to be able let people have the rights to food that is safe, clean, and eatable.

 

The refrigerator helps with food safety the refrigerator helps keep frozen veggies, meat, and desserts, and more stay frozen and it prevents frozen food from rotting and expiring.  In 1844, John Gorrie An, American doctor from Florida created a device based on Evans’ invention that would make ice in order to cool the air for yellow fever patients.  

Laws are significant when it comes to food safety.  There are laws for food safety.  The law of 2006 was that people who make food and sell food at the market have to label food with the ingredients or if not you could eat something that you are allergic to or you could eat or drink something that you can’t use for your age.  People reacted good to those laws because now they know if they should be eating  that kind of food.  Not everyone reacted the same because others that are not allergic to any food don’t care about ingredients. The effect of all of is that they still put ingredients of foods, snacks, drinks, and more because of the people who have allergic reactions to food.

Because of Louis Pasteur and the food safety movement,  food at Daly Elementary in 2015 is safe and clean.  We can get in the cafeteria line and feel confident that the food we are buying is safe for us to eat.  

 

The city Of Ember redesign book cover

I made this book cover because for me this is the most efficient drawing. This is the best thing that I could think of and the most creative I like how I made the background black, the city of Ember was gold and brown mixed, then I put lamps.  I put five lamps and put EMBER inside of them and the pole that keep the light steady I made it light black because the background was black.  I made the background black because it is the dark sky and the lamps are the little bit of light that they have in the city of Ember.  I used my creative side to make it this was my best idea to put Ember inside of the lamps to make it look cool its just not cool artistic.  That is not the point the point is that I liked it if other people don’t like it it doesn’t matter because it’s there opinion.  I personally like my book cover and I think that I did a good job. I want people to like my cover because  worked hard on it.  I did not give away anything from the story because I wanted for people to read it and figure everything out why it is always dark.

The boy obsessed with yellow

Write about a person obsessed with the color yellow.

 

A boy named Alex loved yellow he couldn’t have anything that was not yellow he only ate yellow stuff he only ate egg fries and mac and cheese and more yellow junk food since he only ate junk food he was fatter than Augusts gloop  from Charlie and the Chocolate factory his teeth were yellow because he couldn’t find a yellow toothbrush his bed blanket and walls were yellow his books were yellow he has a pet bird because he can’t find any other yellow pets and he can’t go to school because his school is not yellow so he is home schooled and his Chromebook is yellow  he can’t get out of his house because the world is not yellow he loves the color yellow he literally can not have anything that is not yellow his glasses are yellow and all of his clothes are yellow his room is so yellow that everything is bright at night and his ceiling is also yellow so nobody understands how he sleeps that is the boy who loves with yellow.

The First Amendment

I believe that the first Amendment of the bill of rights is the most important because religion is important and everyone has their own religion.  I believe that the government can not stop anyone from practicing their religion or saying whatever they want or publishing their hard work.  They can also not let anyone say what they want because if someone really wants to say something they can’t stop you from saying it.

 

Number one is the most efficient for me because people can’t stop me or anyone from their religion.  Religion makes you happy and makes you believe in yourself and when people want to see your religion you should show your religion you shouldn’t care if people make fun of your religion.  If people make fun of your religion consider them a bully  or someone that doesn’t want to show their religion that is why religion is important for me.

 

The government can’t stop you from publishing your hard work practicing your religion and they can’t stop you from saying what you want.  It is very important because religion can help you relive your inner you and publishing your work will help other people understand how you feel and what your mind is up to.  Finally you saying what you want can help people know what you feel  and what they can do to make it better or they can help you with anything.

 

My reasons to why this is important.  The first example is that no one has the right to tell you to change your religion .  The second example is that nobody can stop you from saying something or publishing your hard work if you publish something that nobody wants to know or if they don’t care they still don’t have the right to not publish your work let them not care as long as you like it you should publish it.  Another reason why I chose number one is because no one can not do their own religion and the people from other countries and states don’t have to fit in.

 

That is why I chose the first Amendment which is more important for me and that is my opinion on which Amendment is best for me.

 

Tormonic and Hurtonic

It was October, 19 ,1901, in Washington D.C. there are two storm gods that are best friends. The first, Hurtonic the god of hurricanes, always wears blue pants with a blue shirt. The second one Tormonic the god of Tornado’s wears green everything just like hurtonic. They have been best friends since pre k now they have passed college already. They are still friends it starts to get really rainy the season is fall. They love the weather.

They always go see the movie cool storms they love that movie. They get emotional every time they see the movie because they think the movie is amazing how they show how storms look. Whenever the movie comes out they are the first ones to get tickets. They are also the first ones to get tickets nobody else goes to watch the movie but them.

If a storm ever comes it’s because they’re mad at each other or if any storm is mad but it has never happened to them but it has happened to other gods like the rain god the wind god and the snow god. If they get mad at each other they are super powerful together that they can destroy everything that is why nobody likes to get them both mad.

Hurtonic and Tormonic are different they are not like the other storms they never get mad at each other but in pre k they always got mad. They were not powerful at that time but if they get mad at each other now that there thirty. Back then they were five but if all the other storms got mad it really would not matter too much because they don’t do to much damage. The rain can flood but the god of rain never gets mad if it gets sad. It just gets sad but it doesn’t rain to hard when that happens.

Hurtonic and Tormonic got mad at each other because tormonic believes that he has the most powerful storm god in the world. Hurtonic got mad at him because Hurtonic didn’t believe it. Hurtonic got mad at tormonic. They don’t talk to each other or see each other. They are enemies now tormonic always thought hurtonic was the bad guy but tormonic didn’t know he was the bad guy.

Hurtonic wants to get revenge he want’s to do something evil he doesn’t care anymore he’s just mad. Tormonic didn’t know that he wasn’t the strongest storm the strongest storm is all of them combined. Since they got mad at each other Hurtonic and tormonic they didn’t know that they were putting everyone in danger because together they are powerful. If they’re both mad at each other a big storm will come.

Hurtonic’s revenge is that he want’s to build a machine to steal Tormonic’s powers. He wants Tormonic’s powers because if he takes his power’s he knows that he will turn powerful with 2 powers. Tormonic will be weak. Hurtonic is working on he doesn’t do anything else but work on the taking powers away machine he doesn’t focus on anything else.

Hurtonic makes the planning sheet of how it’s going to look Hurtonic wants it blue because he loves blue it will blend in with him it looks like a gumball machine but the helmet is invisible. The gumball machine also has some red. After 2 weeks of building he finally finishes the machine Hurtonic was proud of himself.

Hurtonic sees Tormonic he just want’s to find the right moment to run at him. Five minutes later he finds the right moment and runs at him tormonic get’s injected with a needle on the head. Tormonic doesn’t know what’s going on. Hurtonic puts it on his finger and it transfers the powers to him.

Tormonic yells’’ why he is strapped to a machine.’’

Tormonic feel’s so strong he yells i’m the strongest god in the world and he just disappears and Tormonic doesn’t know what happened he just feels weak and miserable he fell on his knees and can’t move he is in pain he is failing.

Hurtonic starts to feel bad out of nowhere even though he did that to Tormonic. Hurtonic helps Tormonic up connects it to him. After he gives his power’s back.

They became friends again after what happened. In Washington it doesn’t matter if there are storms because the god of rains is the one that is most likely to get mad every day.

Tormonic apologized for what he said to Hurtonic because he caused it all by saying that he had the best power’s in the world. Tormonic was forgiven.

Hurtonic apologized to Tormonic for stealing his power’s and injecting him with a needle on his head that would of really hurt on a normal person. Storms don’t think they just do it. Humans have a brain also they think but sometimes they also make bad decisions. It would hurt for humans because they have a brain but storm gods just have a empty space in their head where they keep their emotions of storms and humans keep their thoughts of what happened that day. It is just different between humans and storms but after that day they lived happily ever after as friends.

A note on the seat

You’re sitting at a cafe, and when you get up to get a refill, you notice someone has                                                            dropped a note on your seat.What does the note say? Who left it?

Someone dropped a note on your seat and it says I know where you live and I will find you sincerely April fools and you realize it’s April fools bu before you realize everyone is behind you ready to scare you then you turn around  and they scare you and you faint and you never know who scared you or gave you the note.

The scary corn maze

Once upon a time there was a girl named Eva. She has always wanted to go to a maze for Halloween.  She also wants to bring her friends which are Daniella  jasmine leandra  and Alexa her true best friends who have never teased her.  It is the year 2008 so they are calling  the maze the two thousand eight horror maze.  For Halloween leandra is going to be bat girl  Eva is going to be a cat and daniella and jasmine are both going to be minions jasmine is going to be a purple minion and daniella is going to be the yellow minion and Alexa is going to be a zombie which Eva was going to be but instead she let Alexa be it because she wanted to be a zombie more badly than Eva.  So the maze is tommorow  and it starts at five in the morning till three in the afternoon.  It is the next day and it is four in the morning everyone  went to sleep at seven at night  to not be tired in the corn maze.  Eva and her friends arrived at the maze because it Is a few minutes like five minutes  away from her house to get there she has to walk out of her house cross the street and keep on going straight  till she saw the sign that said two tho us and eight horror maze.  Finally it turned five in the morning and we could start the maze.  We went through a tunnel that led to the maze so we crawled into the tunnel stood up then we just kept walking till a clown scared all of us so we just kept and kept walking and a guy with a cardboard chain saw came out but they thought it was real so we ran and the noise of the chain saw was just his phone. After that we just relaxed and sat on a piece of metal and just calmed down but behind them there was a girl dressed up as a zombie she did really good on the special effects like fake blood and saying brains it sounded really real but they got an amber alert  on their phones saying that there is a real zombie at the maze they all freaked out screamed and ran as fast as they could it was hard for jasmine and daniella to run because the suit took up a lot of space on th shoes so they couldn’t  run to fast but it didn’t  matter so much because the zombie was slow but we still ran and we just ran through the maze and we were out of the maze.  We all agreed not to come here next year even if there isn’t  any real zombie but there was still a zombie on the loose. We all ran to Alexa’s house because she has a lock down system so we went inside her house everyone except for Alexa had to call their parents the parents  came to alexa’s house and stayed there.  One hour later we are still so scared because we hear brains like the zombie said so Alexa looked out the window  and saw the zombie but the zombie couldn’t see her because the lock down of the house has some special thing on it that people can not see into your house.  Nobody knows what the zombie wants and everyone thought it would be a good idea to wear gear capture the zombie and put it in a cell Tha know one can ever get out of and know one can break it not evendors the strongest man of earth.  So everyone  put on their ear and sneaked out the backyard and they saw the zombie and the grabber a tall cardboard box and threw it on top of the zombie they taped the box to the zombie so That it couldn’t get out of the box so they grabbed the zombie and put in the cell. Two yeas have passed and nothing has gone wrong. That was the story of the haunted maze hoped you enjoyed the story.

A good hideout

What would a good hide out be like?

 

There is a girl named Eva she was bored until she thought.  What would a good hideout be like.  A good hide out would be a under ground tunnel with floor and a secret snack shelf with a refrigerator full of fruits.  Like strawberries and bananas and more. There would also be a bed to relax and a book shelf to be reading on the bed and a secret door on the other side and on the other side of the the door there would be a dragon that eats you that is why no one that could go in can come out for sneaking into my secret hide out while there thinking there is money of something valuable in there but once they step in there there dead that is why none of my things would be close to that door because I don’t want my stuff gobbled down by a dragon.

In my opinion I think that  solar energy is a good resource because.  It is renewable by the sun and it doesn’t have at least more than 5 or less or more environmental impacts.  Solar energy is also a good resource because it is cheap to buy who wouldn’t like something cheap that works.  A good thing about it being cheap is that your family will be able to save up for more materials and more money for later on in the year or maybe  for a couple of few years.  You also don’t need so many materials because all you need is 4 materials which is a wind turbine,battery storage system and,solar panels.  Another thing is that you can’t use electricity when it’s dark but that’s good because you won’t get caught at night using your electronic and so you don’t get grounded or in trouble.  A solar energy roller coaster would look good at daly because a roller coaster always looks good except for the baby caterpillar ones those don’t look fun but a roller coaster of solar energy would look good and it can work all day except for at night so a it would look awesome at daly.  A solar energy roller coaster would affect daly because it would take up a lot of room and to buy the materials daly would have to spend some money.  It would be easy to make a roller coaster out of solar energy instead of making one of hydropower because solar energy all you need is solar panels and a battery storage system and a wind turbine.  The resource that would be better to save on costs would be solar power because for solar energy materials it’s cheap and it only needs four materials and hydropower needs a lot of materials but not to much and it takes some process and hydropower might not be cheap so solar energy would be good for saving.  The easiest one to make at daly is solar power because you need solar energy to control your roller coasters with solar pannels and hydro power would be hard because you would need to put togrther a lot of things.  That os why solar power is a good reasource.
