Leandra; Attorney at law

Employment law is an important job that the world needs. Employment law is a combination of being convincing, taking risks, and being skilled. All of the employees in America need this job to protect them in case something happens to them at work. I think that this job will be here in 20 years because people are still going to be discriminated at work and be treated unfair.

To become an employment lawyer you have to study hard and be goal oriented. First you have to have good grades in grad school. Second, you have to get a good LSAT score so that you can set foot into law school, then you have to study hard to pass all of your classes so that when you’re finished with law school you can ace the bar exam so that you can be a lawyer. And then you can get your Juris Doctorate degree which you need to become an employment lawyer.

The generic job duties of an employment lawyer are to enforce work laws, workplace safety, and represent unions. The little details of what their duties are that: Sexual harassment, Workplace safety, Wage and overtime standards, Discrimination against employees based on age, ancestry, color, creed, disability, marital status, medical conditions, national origin, race, religion. Employee benefits like leaves of absence and retirement plans. The annual salary for an employee lawyer is 144,000 a year.

The tools and technology that an employment lawyer needs are: an overview of the interplay among the ADA, FMLA and WC; an investigation checklist; termination tools; an overview of wage and hour basics; tips on avoiding retaliation; our social media starter kit; and tools for reducing legal fees. The lawyer may need these very important  tools when in a case.

Like I stated before, employment lawyers will still be here in 20 years because people will still work at jobs, and if people still work at jobs then employment lawyers will still be needed if an incident happens at work like:  Sexual harassment, Workplace safety, Wage and overtime standards, Discrimination against employees based on age, ancestry, color, creed, disability, marital status, medical conditions, national origin, race, religion.

Coaching

Coach’s  help the  players get ready for the pro  NFL  ( National. Football.  League  ) give’s players over $2,000,000 million dollars and $100,000,000 million dollars   .

Coach’s  get’s the  players ready to go to  the next level of their football lives like they get them to VS people half their size work harder and harder each week.

A professional  football coach makes over $1,000,000 million dollars every year and they can coach how long they would like to and this job will be here in 20 years.

And coaches will have to draft  new players every year for there team and they will have to prep them for their first game  of the the season.

The pros help the rookies prep up  for the  regular season because Defence of  Line  in the NFL (National Football League) destroy their running backs and fullbacks and Offence of line.

Defence’s of line  help’s the Offence’s of line to players that’s stronger then them and  faster then them and so the Offence of  line and went up against each another all week long.

They go up against each  other because they help each other get better and they can block faster and stronger then offence of line.

Then they  block any person that gets in there way they can be strong your fast they can still block them no matter what and they block them until the end.

In conclusion, coach’s get payed more than NFL ( National Football League ) players but coach’s and players get almost the same payed.

Pediatrician

The duties of a pediatrician is to check him/her out and see if their healthy and to make them healthy with medications for them to take and some requirements that the doctor will tell either him/her and to study their diseases and finding the right medication/medicine to cure the typical type/kind of disease him/her has or gonna have and to specialize in children and their diseases which is what I technically just said in the first place:)

To be a pediatrician you need 4 years of education in university and then once you complete that you’ll need 4 more years of medical school and after medical school comes you’ll need 1 year of pediatrics intern and that’s how to become a pediatrician.

Pediatricians get money in where they work, their reputation, and if their a specialist. The salary for specialist is 250,000 dollars a year, the salary for a normal pediatrician is around $ 175,000 but if you want me to be more precise $ 170,530 is the real deal;) but it really just depends. Other pediatricians get less than that $ 140,465 to be exact. Therefore this is a great job that has a lot enough of money to have a good home and to have food and to live a good life.

Pediatricians earn about $ 80.59 per hour this is good enough so that i could have a great and comfortable home and to get food

Yes this job will be here in the future like let’s say 20 years. Because there has to be pediatricians in the future because there has to be a doctor for kids because if there were no pediatrician there would be no cures for the kids in this world and some kids might die because what if they had cancer and their was no pediatrician to specialize him/her then him/her would never know she/he has cancer or gonna have cancer and would have no medications to cure the disease or like a requirement from the doctor like for you to exercise more or something then the kid would die or something or let’s say HIV if their was no pediatrician and him/her got hiv and they don’t know they do and they think their fine and healthy that would be bad because then him/her are gonna pop up with diseases and and even worse him/her have a short time of life and even worse they don’t have any medications 5to calm hiv and the diseases down since there’s no cure for hiv so that’s why I think there’s gonna be pediatricians in the future cuz if their wasn’t which is cause then it will really affect all the kids worldwide badly. If there’s a cause there will always be an effect.

Midwife

Midwives is job for all women in this world. Midwives are important for women that are pregnant and not pregnant. Midwives deliver babies every seconds and minute of the day.

One of the Midwives duties is help women with and without babies. Some more of their duties are to provide healthcare for women and to they give advice to keep women healthy. Midwives specialized in pregnancy and helping with giving birth.

Midwives salary is $50.36 per hour and $104,740 per year. Also do you know that Midwives get paid for just being with cute babies all day. And all the tools they use is there hands and gloves.

You get to be with babies all day. The good thing is that Cute babies. The bad thing is that so babies might be sick and that’s sad. Basically you get paid for being with babies all bay.

I know that Midwives will still be here in 20 years because people will still want to have normal babies and they need help so there is where Midwives will come in and help. Also people won’t just stop having babies. People will always have babies and need help. Another reason that people are not going to stop having babies is because people are all ways going to have babies.

This is why I believe that the career of Midwives will still be here in 20 years.

Career Essay: Voiceover

Career Essay:

  Voiceover

Voiceover is a job to make voices for TV that aren’t real people like animated cartoons or animated movies or even on a commercial where you just talk and nobody sees you. Voiceover is an entertainment job for kids and adult! I also want to say in about 10-20 years humans will still be doing voiceover because a robot can’t change their voices and we have vocal cords which help us change our voices!

The duties for a Voiceover is to change your voice to make it sound like however the director wants it to sound like or the director may want you to use your regular voice. You need to read the lines and say them while you make that specific voice. Also you to make it sound as real as possible like if the line says that you’re yelling then you have to yell, if the line says you sound happy then you have to sound happy. And a robot cannot do that.

The salary (money you make) is around $20 to a couple hundred dollars for an hour of work per job so you can get maybe $50 dollars when you finish doing your job and when you come back the next day to do a different scene or even a different episode or commercial you can make more money or less money.

The equipment for Voiceover is mostly a mic and computer because you need a mic to talk into so people can hear them and a computer to add some music or for editing purposes because the editors who actually make the characters need a computer to make it and first they need to draw the character and robots can’t draw or makeup characters, they need an actual picture from the internet.

Now you can see all the things you can do for as a Voiceover and that in about 10-20 years robots cannot take this job because they can’t change their voices.

Martin Luther King has his own decision overturns the 1896 Plessy v. Ferguson ruling that sanctioned “separate but equal” segregation of the races, ruling that “separate educational facilities are inherently unequal.” It is a victory for NAACP attorney Thurgood Marshall, who will later return to the Supreme Court as the nation’s first black justice.

Fourteen-year-old Chicagoan Emmett Till is visiting family in Mississippi when he is kidnapped, brutally beaten, shot, and dumped in the Tallahatchie River for allegedly whistling at a white woman. Two white men, J. W. Milam and Roy Bryant, are arrested for the murder and acquitted by an all-white jury. They later boast about committing the murder in a Look magazine interview. The case becomes a cause celebre of the civil rights movement.

Martin Luther King, Charles K. Steele, and Fred L. Shuttlesworth establish the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, of which King is made the first president. The SCLC becomes a major force in organizing the civil rights movement and bases its principles on nonviolence and civil disobedience. According to King, it is essential that the civil rights movement not sink to the level of the racists and hatemongers who oppose them: “We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline,” he urges.

(Greensboro, N.C.) Four black students from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical College begin a sit-in at a segregated Woolworth’s lunch counter. Although they are refused service, they are allowed to stay at the counter. The event triggers many similar nonviolent protests throughout the South. Six months later the original four protesters are served lunch at the same Woolworth’s counter. Student sit-ins would be effective throughout the Deep South in integrating parks, swimming pools, theaters, libraries, and other public facilities.

Car Safety Movement

The Auto Safety has affected every single adults in the world. In 2004 people began getting hurt and died of car crashes. There are three people that helped and invented.

Samuel Alderson was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 21, 1914. Samuel is dead now. Samuel Alderson was an inventor best known for his development of the crash test dummy a device that, during the last half of the twentieth century was widely used by automobile manufacturers to test the reliability of automobile seat belts and other safety protocols.

Ralph Nader was born in Winsted, Connecticut on February 27, 1934. Ralph is still alive now. Ralph Nader received an AB magna cum laude degree from Princeton University in 1955. He also received a LLB with distinction degree from Harvard University in 1958. Ralph Nader began his career as a lawyer in Hartford, Connecticut in 1959 and from 1961-1963. In 1965-1966 he received the Nieman Fellows award and was named one of ten Outstanding Young Men of Year by the U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce in 1967. Between 1967-1968 he returned to Princeton as a lecturer. He continues to speak at colleges and universities across the United States.

Henry Ford was born into a farm family in 1863 near Dearborn, Mich., and showed an early interest in mechanics. He fixed neighbors’ watches and built his first steam engine at 15. He tinkered constantly, and as America’s first automobiles emerged, Ford focused on internal combustion engines. John W. Lambert invented the nation’s first gasoline-powered automobile in 1891; just five years later, Ford unveiled his own “horseless carriage,” which he named the “Quadricycle,” because it ran on four bicycle tires. The Quadricycle, which steered with a tiller much like a boat, had just two speeds with no reverse.Ford at the time was chief engineer at Thomas Edison’s thriving Edison Illuminating Company, but his venturesome spirit led him to strike out on his own to try his hand at automotive engineering. Ford left with the encouragement of Edison, who later became one of his closest friends.

In conclusion I learned that Samuel Alderson was a inventor best known for his development of the crash test dummy, Ralph Nader began his career as a lawyer in Hartford, and Henry Ford fixed neighbors’ watches and built his first steam engine. He tinkered constantly, and as America’s first automobiles emerged, Ford focused on internal combustion engines.
