What does the food in your refrigerator do when you close the door?

The food in my refrigerator when i shut the door, the bread well… when i turn around it  jumps into the water like it’s a pool…. And well the milk is trouble, she runs in and out of the fridge and then spills itself and it starts to make a mess but napkin is crying because her dad got used just to wipe up some milk that got spilled. And well pumpkin cheese spread is scurrying across the butter. Well can’t explain the broccoli.. He, is taking a bath with the Cheese. And then the oranges are squirting the orange juice like it’s a water gun fight, except it’s an orange gun fight.

So let’s give you some interesting “facts”. Let’s just tell you one of the nice, things about… The Sirens. Well for a fact they are mermaid like creatures that like to sing a song and then they, KILL SAILORS  WITH THEIR SWEET LOVEY DOVEY  SONGS!!! Well not really, but it’s good trait to have. So let’s tell you about Poseidon. He likes to rule the sea,  he wants not one single other person ruling the sea except him and the Sirens. Maleifiecent, is the Sea wanna be owner. He want’s to do everything his way, he also doesn’t want  Poseidon to rule the sea he wants to rule it himself. This all runs down in Sea Lauderdale.

 

Poseidon calls up The Sirens. “Hello?? Who are you?” the Oldest Siren said. “I am Poseidon and I want to know if you would like to work with me, to rule the under sea’s!” “Erm.. Sure… We will swim over to you. See you in a couple of minutes.” The Sirens swam as fast as they could over to Poseidon’s part of the sea, they were excited but not exactly sure if they felt confident.

 

Let foward to the next day. The Sirens and Poseidon were in the sea relaxing  also enjoying their day off, when they heard the sounds of jet ski’s and they suddenly jumped up in shock. “WHAT IN THE SEAS IS GOING ON HERE!?!?!?” screams Poseidon in anger.

 

“Poseidon calm down. It’s just Maleficent’s soldiers, I have heard that Maleficent has been causing trouble down in the western seas. I also heard that he wants to own all of the seas. Including our sea. And also we need to tell him to stop because it is causing a distraction on our LAND! We won’t let him do anything to our home! We will own this!” screamed The oldest Siren in no fear.

 

“You are sure right and we need to stand up and tell him we OWN this sea. Sea Lauderdale is our home! We won’t let some skunk bag run our sea. So we must FIGHT.Let’s march on over there and DEMAND a fight.”  

 

“Yea! Let’s get ready!!” Said the Sirens.

 

They all got ready to swim over to Maleficent’s underwater palace and demand a fight. “Are we all ready??” yelled Poseidon.

 

“YES WE ARE!!”  The  Sirens yelled back. They all marched over to the palace.

 

Maleficent said laughing. “If it isn’t Little Poseidon. Haha. Always trying to own the sea. Well I am going to own Sea Lauderdale! And you can’t stop me.”

 

“You seem so confident in your little self. Oh wait you shouldn’t be because I am going to BEAT you! I demand a fight with you. If we dont fight.  Then we never will know who owns the sea. If you agree we fight tomorrow at 1:00 sharp.”  

 

“Hmm.. Let me think. Just bring tissues.”

“Why! So that we can wipe your tears?”

 

“No.. So that you can dry your eyes after I beat you! Leave it at that. Tomorrow it is, tomorrow it is. .”

 

Let’s forward to the next day. So it was 12:58 and they had 2 minutes to be at the sea to fight maleficent. Everyone was ready to fight. The Sirens had been dressed in their best gear and had the best weapon. Their swords were made of Sea Glass and then Poseidon’s sword was made of water. (the best sword was the water sword.)

 

“Ready to be beat. By the great Maleficent. Do you have your tissues??”

 

“No.. I don’t want nor do I need them. I’m not a little boy! I’m going to RULE this sea including this sea that we are standing in the middle of. I have the best sword in the world of underwater swords.”

 

“Aww. Better start getting them!”

 

“I’m good. How about you take them! You will be needing them. I won’t. I will just be sitting here laughing once I beat you. And there is no way that I will let you beat me. My sword is most powerful. It’s made of water. Water is the STRONGEST sword ever. Hope you can beat that.”

 

“Aww so cute! I have a better sword, called the maleficent sword it has EVERY ability.”

 

“O-Ok! Try acting like that…!”

 

They started fighting, The Sirens had taken down Maleficent’s soldiers. Poseidon and Maleficent were insanely crazy for fighting but they did it just so that they could see who was best to fight.

 

Maleficent yelled. “STOP!!!!!!! LET ME SPEAK!!!”

 

“What do you want? I want to get this over with.”

 

“I wanna ask if we wanna team up? Like join forces.”


“Let me think about that. Is this some sort of trick ‘cause i’m not falling for any of your good old tricks.”

 

“Nope. Cross my sea heart it’s not a trick! Please I want to rule  the sea with you. And you and the Sirens also want to rule the sea’s. I think it makes sense that we join forces.”

 

“That sounds good.”

 

They ended the battle. Poseidon went back to Sea Lauderdale and packed up his items and the Sirens had nothing to bring with them. Maleficent was getting ready for Poseidon to come to his palace.

 

“How about we call Zeus and see if He would want to join our force. Wouldn’t that be awesome! We can all rule the undersea and then all rule the underground also!”

 

“That sounds good Maleficent. Sirens don’t you agree?”

 

The Sirens all nodded. They had called up Zeus. Zeus was excited, He was ready to rule the undersea and the underground with his brother. (Poseidon and Zeus are brothers.) Zeus got packed up and went to Maleficent’s palace. Zeus thought that ruling the underground was a lot of HARD work. He was excited for someone to help him rule it and keep it safe.

 

“Hello Zeus!!” Maleficent said greetings .

 

“Hiyo. Maleficent”

 

“Let’s all take a rest it’s been a busy day.”

 

And then they all took a nap and then they ruled the undersea and the underground all together and nothing bad happened after that. They all worked together and didn’t ever speak of the fight. Poseidon got a job, as an underwater mechanic. Maleficent just owned the undersea and that was his job. The sirens just kept killing sailors with their sweet song.

So i’m a toothbrush. Oh gosh, someone is about to use me to brush their teeth. I’m just gonna not work. Well, that’s not gonna work. Hopefully, it does. I don’t wanna smell like a child’s bad breath. My parents expect me to be the role models and that expectation is about to be crushed by bad breath of a 10 year old. If I don’t let this happen. This child will always have bad breath, and I’m supposed to make kids not have bad breath and I am going to be dead! HELP ME!! “Hello toothbrush” the 10 year old picks up their toothbrush. “Lets start brushing! I don’t wanna have smelly breath for, school. I wish my toothbrush could talk to me.” “I can.” The 10 year old looked at his toothbrush and sighed.

“This is all fake. My family is probably playing a prank on me.” said the 10 year old

“I can talk! I can!! Listen!!! I’m not fake! I’m real I can talk! I can also sing. :) Want me to sing you a song?” said toothbrush with no name.

“Um i’m good. But how can you talk?”

“Science will explain.”

“How will you show me.

“You will just find out. You may go to school and NOT speak of this all! My name by the way is Charles Toothbrush. My family doesn’t like me exactly so yea now I am brushing tons of teeth and it’s not the best job. Wanna trade?”

l”Uh i gotta go to school. But can you like brush my teeth?”

“You’ve got a good breath…. but Sure..”

The 10 year old started to brush their teeth and then put the toothbrush down because they were done. So i want you to know that his breath wasn’t actually that bad. My best friends is the worst, she has never brushed her teeth so her gums started bleeding which was disgusting. And so I don’t think that I am going to be going back to her. That’s kinda just… Ugh i can’t think about it.

Imagine if I didn’t brush them teeth. Wow that would be just disguising.. I would be in the blame of the teeth being rotten. Well I did brush then but it was a nightmare, that little girl was a nightmare. Shesh she was only 10 and had teeth like a 50 year old person. Like P.U. I nearly barfed. My best friend is Brushy. He is awesome! I love him. But lets get back to my story. This isn’t fair. I nearly want to barf! But I won’t. See you again in the next story!! *see you again music starts playing* ?

These 4 pictures summarize the story all together.

I picked the broken house because in the beginning the story had said that Digory lived in a small wooden house. Also because the story said that the house was pretty small. I picked the boat because, Digory went onto a ship, to go to Plymouth. I put the lighthouse because, in the story Digory went to the lighthouse that had a crack in the side and he went to give Master Henry, the candles to light the lighthouse so that the boats wouldn’t crash into the sea. I also picked a dad and a son because in the end of the book Digory found his father in the end of the story!

Introduction 

Fossil fuels are natural resources found in the environment, that people use for their daily life.

 

Production And Distribution

Fossil fuels comes from mines or oil,gas. It is collected by a coal-fired steamed station.Water is turned into steam in a coal-steamed station. Which in turn drives turbines to produce electricity. Before the coal is burned, it is pulverized to the fineness of talcum powder. It is then mixed with hot air and blown into the firebox of the boiler. While it is burning in suspension, in the coal/air mixture provides combustion and maximum heat possible.The enormous pressure of the steam pushing against a series of giant turbine blades turns the turbine shaft, where magnets spin within wire coil where it produces electricity. Then while it is done doing its work for the turbine, the steam is turned in the condenser, a large chamber in the basement of the power plant. Millions of gallons  of cool water are pumped in a network of tubes running through the condenser. Then the cool water converts the steam back into water. The cooling water returned to its source with no contamination, then the water goes through its cycle all over again.

Cost-Materials

The materials that we need for fossil fuels to be made:

 

  • Coal
  • A boiler to boil water into steam  
  • FireBox to blow the steam, and mix it with Talcum Powder
  • Turbine which turns to make electricity, and then the steam help powers it   
  • Generator which when the steam is done in the turbine it goes into the generator
  • Condenser which turns the steam into cool water
  • Water towers to turn the steam back into water
  • Goes through the process all over again

 

Environmental Impact

The fossil fuels pollute the air. Water pollution is caused by the dirt,rocks,gravel,soil that goes into the water which then pollutes it. Separating the water from the runoff of the fossil fuels. Coal mining raises a number of environmental challenges such as soil erosion and noise and water pollution. Large areas have to be  temporarily disturbed in order to dig for fossil fuels.

Conclusion

In conclusion, fossil fuels are a renewable resource that you can use every day.

 

The Adventures of the Woods

Back in 2012 there was a girl named Ava and she played soccer but she didn’t really like it that much. She dreaded going to practice but she never complained to her mom. At every game she’d pretend to hurt herself and then the referees would tell her to get off and that she couldn’t play in the game anymore.

 

Ava loves hikes and just being with friends. She took hikes everyday in the forest right behind her house. She asked her friends but they always turned her down because they loved playing games and they hated going outside. They were always too busy  with playing on minecraft or playing mario kart with their other friends.

 

One day Ava and her friends were outside playing basketball. They were just kicking the ball back to each other then Ava set up some goals then they started making goals. Then Ava said. “Why don’t we, get a drink right now?” Then all her friends said. “Sure why not Ava.” Then as they were walking inside one of her friends screamed. “AHHHH A SNAKE!!!!” Then all the girls ran inside, then grabbed a sip of  water.    

 

“So what happened?”

 

“I was walking with you guys, then I saw a rattlesnake. And then freaked out then I yelled. Sorry! I am sorry!!”

 

“It’s ok! It’s ok! We forgive you.  Don’t leave Madi! We aren’t mad at you!!! Forgive us!!”

 

“Fine! But I am going to call my mom and ask her if you can come over Ava! And we can have dinner together!! Maybe even a sleepover!”

 

“Hey Madi?”

 

“Yea Ava? What do you need?”

 

“Wanna go take a hike?”

 

“Yes yes!! I’d love to I love hikes.”

 

The girls started getting ready to go on a hike. “Hey girls I am gonna go with Madi for a little hike.” Ava hollered. The other girls replied. “Ok we’re all going home for now. Bye!” Ava screamed in excitement. “Hey Madi! Are you ready to go?” Madi replied. “Yea, gimme a second. While I pack some snacks. Want anything?  I have trail mix. Or almond bars? Whatever, I will just pack both.” As Madi packs both Ava gets a first aid kit. Ava hummed. “Yay we’re going on a hike!! I love hikes!” Then the Ava screamed. “MOM, ME AND MADI ARE GOING OUT FOR A HIKE!!! WE WILL  BE BACK LATER!” Then they headed out the door.Then headed up the hill. The girls we’re in the forest.

“Hey Ava can we stop? I am out of breath.” The girls stopped then Madi pulled out water and started taking a sip and as she took a sip she started feeling better.

 

“What do we do now? Should we go back home and rest or hike further?”

 

“Oh my! Go further. Don’t you love hiking, Ava? I…”

 

Some stranger popped out of nowhere and hollered . “Why hello! What do we have here!” Madi & Ava jumped in shock. “Who, who are you! Are you going to hurt us?!?!?!?!?” The stranger giggled and said. “Ha,  no. I won’t, why do you think that!? And this time, don’t be so scared. Answer.” Ava didn’t say anything. Madi shocked and scared replied. “I, I don’t know! We just want to hike! Please leave us alone!!! We didn’t do anything to you!” Ava said to Madi. “Calm down!” And the stranger says. “Ugh! Why do you all seem so scared!!!!! I want you to FOLLOW me and not RUN away! You hear me!?!?!? Also tell me you’re names! No last names please.” Ava and Madi looked at each other then said. “Well, I am Ava, this is my best friend Madi.” Madi waved. “Why do you want us to follow you though?”

 

The stranger said. “Well let me introduce myself. I am Jenni. I am 23 years old. Just because I want to do something for you.” The girls replied. “Well hello, Jenni.” Jenni then walked further into the forest then the girls followed her. Jenni pulls out a wand. “Ava may you please step up. In front of me.” Ava walked up scared. “Well, don’t be scared it won’t hurt! 100% Sure that it won’t.” Just like that Jenni started saying some words Madi nor Ava could understand. BOOM. Ava turned into a……..soccer player. Madi gasped then yelled. “ OH MY GOSH AVA YOU’RE IN A SOCCER JERSEY!! THAT’S RED” Ava plays  then scores a lot of goals. “Jenni, may I ask you something?” Jenni says. “Yep? What do you want Ava.” Ava said taking a breath. “Why did you do this to me?” Jenni giggled then  said. “ What made you a soccer player! Haha not me! You made yourself, now you like soccer because if you didn’t you wouldn’t have kicked a lot of goals! Most people that don’t like kicking the ball, you did.” As she giggled. “Get out there and go play your FIRST game next week on saturday! Good luck!” And Jenni disappeared like that.

Madi and Ava ran home really fast and the back door slam open.

 

“MOM!! LET’S GET SOCCER CLEATS! AND SHIN GUARDS !!!”

 

“Ava… I have to go home.My mom wants me home.She wants me home for dinner.”

 

“NO!!! HAVE DINNER HERE!!!!!”

 

Then Ava’s mom replied. “Sweetie calm down. Madi do you wish for me to call your mom, also I will ask her if you can sleep over? Or stay for a week? No school this week.” Madi excitedly exclaimed. “Yes! Thank you!” Ava’s mom said. “Sure! I love having you over. You’re awesome to have over! You never fight or complain, you’re so respectful.” “Oh my gosh! Thank you so much! I love you guys!” Madi replied. Ava’s mom called up  Madi’s mom answered the phone. “Yes?”  Then Ava’s mom told her, “Sure she may!” Then she hung up.

 

The day of the game. “Ava, honey are you ready to go?” Ava’s mom hollered. “Ava. You’re mom wants us! Ready? For the big game?” Madi smiled.

 

“Yes! Ready to go! Just let me put my water bottle in my bag. And some treats!”

 

Madi and Ava walked downstairs. Ava’s Mom got everyone in the car then they drove off.

 

“So Ava you ready! To take on soccer!” Ava’s mom said.

 

Ava jokingly said “Ha  yes! I am so ready! To go! TO  TAKE ON THE WORLD!!!!! Haha. Sorry just a bit hyper but I am so ready!! Thanks again mom for inviting Madi to stay for the week! I really need some light in my body, she is that light.”

 

Madi replied “Ava! You’re so sweet! Want some jolly ranchers?”

 

Ava reached back grabbed some jolly ranchers from Madi.

 

“May I have a few?” Ava mom asked.

 

“Yep!” Ava exclaimed as she was handing them to her mom.

 

At the game Ava’s coach was yelling “GO AVA!!!! GO SHOOT THAT GOAL!! I BELIEVE IN YOU!!!! RUN RUN RUN!!!!!! WOOOOOO!!!!”

 

Ava ran so fast that she could feel her legs burning but she RAN up to that goalie aimed the ball then  kicked the ball right into the goal. Ava had done it! Scored the last score that needed to be scored so that they could win that tournament! She had done it again! Won her first ever game just like she wanted. Ava screamed.

“I SHALL LIVE, PLAY, AND SLEEP SOCCER!!!  SOCCER IS MY LIFE!!!! NEVER TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME! NEVER SHALL IT BE GONE!” Screamed Ava in excitement.

 

Madi ran then  gave Ava a hug. Ava hugged Madi so tight that she was not breathing for a second then they stopped hugging.

 

“Ava want to know something that I wish was true?”

 

“Yea?”

 

“That we we’re sisters and that will never happen.”

“We are sisters…..”

 

“NO WAY! WE ARE NOT!!!!”

 

“We’re sisters from another mother. Hahah get it? But really! We are!  Never forget  about each other, love will be spreaded, between us two and you will never get forget me and I will never forget you!” Madi broke down into tears. “I love you!” Madi hugged Ava.

My First Post

Dear 5th Grade,

I hope that in 5th grade I am able to help my kindergartner buddy and make them feel happy and feel good that  someone way older than them  is going to help them at anytime they are stuck. Also in 5th Grade I hope that I am able to learn a lot of new things, like more multiplication, but like more hard. I wish that I can spend my last year in elementary school helping everyone! Having fun with science also, would be amazing, and also doing a lot of work on our website’s! I hope all this happens in 5th Grade!
