The Third Floor Bedroom

It all began when someone left the window open, this is the tale of the third floor bedroom.

 

 

 

There once was a girl named Stephanie McLain. She was the princess of Gardenia. She was the daughter of Ashlie and Luke “Luck” McLain, the king and queen of Gardenia. She had long blond hair with a silver highlight with blue eyes that made all of boys in the land swon. She wore the same thing to school everyday (because she has 2,000 made in the same things for each day), a dress that has a pink top and blue skirt and a black jacket that read ‘Property of the McLain’s’ and purple tube socks with a rainbow headband. Every day, her butler, Willfred (but the McLain’s call him Willy), that drives her to school in her limo. Stephanie went to Einstein Academy where she’s the top in the whole school.

 

 

 

One day back from school,

“Willy, when are we going to go home. I need my massage and I need it NOW!”Yelled Stephanie louder than a lion on a empty stomach.

Willfred wanted to pull over and throw her out of the limo,”We will be home right away your majesty”

“Thank god, finally,”Sighed Stephanie in relief.

As they pulled up to the castle, the wonderful Stephanie got her blue and black purse and headed for the door. The silver and gold living room with a Samsung 110-inch TV right in the center of the room was shining like diamonds while the maids were cleaning the floor and she went to her room. Her room was filled with the most expensive toys and clothes. She plopped on her Sleep Mattress, which she always adjusted according to her mood, but she went to her desk to do her homework.

Stephanie thought for 10 seconds, (a new record), and finally went to Willfred. After she came back from making Willfred do her homework for her, she watched TV downstairs.

“MOTHER,”Stephanie yelled louder than ever.

Her mother was curling her hair,”WHAT”

“I’M GOING TO GO TO THE STORE AND GETTING NEW CURTAINS FOR THE THIRD FLOOR BEDROOM”Yelled Stephanie as loud as she could.

“OKAY, JUST DON’T GET ROBBED”

 

 

 

As she approached the shops, she noticed a store saying, “Magic Jack’s Magic and Furniture Store” that caught her attention. She walked into the store where she saw a boy about 12 years old, (as old as her), wearing a name tag that said ‘Hello my name is Magic Jack” and a fake mustache.

“Ah, a new customer. Would you like…..”His voice trailed off as he saw the princess.

He fixed his mustache and said, “Your majesty, I was waiting for your arrival”

She was pleased that he was waiting for her, but she said loud and proud, “Fetch me your finest curtain and it better be not boring”

Magic Jack ran all the way down the hall, and 5 minutes later, he came back panting with a beautiful curtain that was the color of the sky on a nice spring day and white doves.

“I’ll take it,”Stephanie said with all her attention on the curtain.

Magic Jack looked at the princess in worry and said, “Be careful of what you say to the curtain. It has powers that are untold,”

Stephanie was out the door when he finished talking.

 

 

 

An hour had passed since the princess was at the store. She had gone downtown to see all of the people that adore her. After all of the meet and gifts, (that is where the people of the kingdom meet the royal family and give them gifts), she came home to see that everyone who works in the castle were going in groups and dispersing, which means leaving the group, Stephanie was confused and thought,

What the heck is going on up in here? Is there like a party that I was not informed about?

She ran up the thousands of stairs until she found her mother’s room.

“MOTHER! WHAT IS GOING ON!”Yelled the beautiful, majestic, and annoyed princess, then she remembered that 2 hours, 12 minutes, and 13 seconds ago that there was going to be a ball where everyone in the kingdom will come and meet the loving people that rule the kingdom. She was so excited because her all time favorite BFF, Katie, was coming so she rushed to the third floor bedroom and put the new curtain on.

“You better be a crowd pleaser, or you will be replaced with the old one,”Said Stephanie. The curtain glowed, but she left as soon as possible to go get ready.

 

 

 

It was 9:00 pm when the beautiful, and majestic princess came down the steps.

“Here ye here ye, all rise to King Luke, Queen Ashlie, and Princess Stephanie of Gardenia,”The announcer announced. As the the people of the kingdom rose to the arrival of the royal family. She walked elegantly down the stairs and ran to her best friend.

“OMG girl, you look fab!”

“Thanks, it’s made from silk all the way from Australia,”

The girls were having a fashion conversation, the third floor bedroom curtain was only blue with no doves anymore, all of the doves were all through the castle and through the kingdom.

“AAAAAAAAA”

“WERE ALL GOING TO GET POOPED ON”

“RUN FOR YOUR LIVES”

Everyone was running throughout the kingdom, so Stephanie went to the only person who knows about the curtain, Magic Jack.

 

 

 

As Stephanie approached Magic Jack’s store she wondered why did he not warn her, (he did, but she didn’t listen), but she forgot all about that when she entered the store.

“Help me, the curtain doves are terrorizing the kingdom!”Stephanie pleaded to the boy.

Magic Jack looked at the princess with a bored face and said,“Let’s go”

As the people were freaking out over doves, the two kids made use of their time and made them selves magic dove catchers. The two ran through the kingdom catching the doves and eventually put them back in the curtain.

“Thanks for helping me catch them”Said the tiered princess.

“Your welcome, and i’ll be taking the curtain you know, so that this happens never again”Replied Magic Jack.

 

 

 

2 days later, the kingdom was cleaned up and no one was pooped on. And the princess now is nice because of the ‘incident’.

Archie Smith, Boy Wonder

Once there was a boy named Archie Smith. He’s 10 years old, goes to Springwood Elementary, and has a HUGE crush on Katty Hernandez the most cutest girl in school (to his opinion). He was a normal kid with a normal room and a normal closet, and normal grades, normal parents, and a normal life. But that all changed when he got superpowers, this is the story of Archie Smith, Boy Wonder.

 

 

 

It was a quiet evening in the town of SpringField, on Main street, in the third family home with a bay window. That’s where Archie Smith had his room. It was covered with Superman themed things. He has a Superman poster that hangs over his Superman bed that had a blue and red Superman logo on the bed frame with Superman sheets and pillow. He also had Superman action figures, wallpapers, and even Superman stuffed animals. He sleeps in superman pajamas with a giant stuffed animal wearing a Superman outfit with a cape! There was our hero, on his bed, reading a ‘Superman’ comic book.

 

 

“‘Then out of nowhere, our superhero emerged for the tall building ashes to save the trapped hostages from the evil Joker,” he read softly in his bed, holding on to his Superbear tightly with fear, then all of a sudden,

“Archie, time for bed,”his mom yelled up the stairs.

“But mom, Superman was about to save the hostages. 5 more minutes, please,”Archie pleaded to his mother

She was happy he was reading,”Okay, 5 minutes,”

 

 

 

It was 7:00 am, where our hero was putting on his clothes. He was wearing his light navy blue short sleeve shirt and his khaki pants. He came down the wooden stairs to see his mom, in her cotton candy blue bathrobe over her Betty Boop pajamas making oatmeal, and his father sitting at the table, in his plain blue pajamas eating oatmeal reading the newspaper, both looking sad.

“What’s wrong mom and dad. Did I do somthing wrong to upset you?”Archie said to his parents in confusion.

Both his parents look at him to say,”I’m so sorry Archie, but your class has a outbreak of chickenpox and it is very serious. You won’t be able to go to school for the next 8 weeks,”

Archie was disappointed to hear that, but he was prepared. He got his breakfast and put it in the red bread shelf to keep it will he goes back to his room.

 

 

 

Every year he gets a summer packet to do at home. He has a whole drawer full of packets from 1st grade to 12th grade, and he is in 5th grade. He rambled through the wooden drawer to find the 5th grade packet.

“I knew that they wouldn’t go to waste”whispered to himself.

He got his Superman pajamas and put on his Superman slippers from the closet and ran downstairs.

“Mama Papa, I have school work for myself to do and….”Archie stop speaking to see nobody is in the kitchen, so he ate his breakfast alone.

 

 

 

It was midnight. Everybody was asleep and Archie was dreaming a Superman dream,

‘Never fear, Superman is here with my trusty sidekick Tigerkid’

‘I’ll save you citizens of townsville while Superman catches the crook’

But while Archie had a really good dream, he wasn’t the only one in the room. He was visited by the Super Forces Group (SFG for short), a group who finds people who can get powers to save the world and not take over the world. A tiny voice asked, “Is he the one?” But it was not a person, it was a beam of light creeping into his room. There were 10 of them circling around the sleeping kid. They all became on bright ring of light. Then the light became no more than a thin piece of air and drifted of to the stars, leaving Archie in his bed, sound asleep.

 

 

 

6:00 am,

Beep beep beep

“What a crazy dream. There was Superman battling the Joker in the epic battle of good vs. evil and….”Archie’s voice trailed off seeing himself in the bathroom staring at the mirror, flying. But he ignored the fact that he would need to shower flying. After the shower, he did the same routine even though he did it flying. He got dressed, got his Superman backpack ready with his Superman binder, Superman lunchbox, and his Superman comic books. Went down the wooden stairs (he flew down) and got his Superman bowl with matching cutlery and cup, so he got the bowl out with the spoon and cup, filled the bowl with Archie’s favorite cereal, Superman Crunch, and added milk in the bowl, put orange juice in the cup, and got a banana, and sat at the table.

Crunch crunch, gulp gulp, peel peel

His parents came down stairs to find their beloved son in mid air.

“Oh my lord, Archie what happened and come down this instant,”His mother cried out while his father didn’t really care.

 

 

 

After he finished his breakfast, he looked at the time and got his things and head out the door. All of the kids on the bus were looking at Archie strangely because his friends were holding him down so he won’t fly out the window. At school, everybody (even the teacher) was staring at him in confusion, but he didn’t mind. Even the lunch lady was staring in confusion, but that wasn’t the weird thing of that day, it was a strange new kid who looked just like him only 1) he was green 2) he hated Katty Hernandez and 3) he hates school, loves sports, and he likes a girl named Yttak Zednanreh back where he used to live.

“Me don’t like school. It is not clean and smugly,”He rudely said while doing the gage at Katty. As he dissed Archie’s school and doing stuff backward, like doing subtraction when the kids are doing addition, having lunch when it’s recess time, and going to school when it was time to go, he also recognized that he was mostly paying attention to Archie. On Monday he saw Eihcra going to school at 2:30, (not unusual for him), coming out of a portal and grabbing Archie by the arm.

“Me go with you to Bizzaro World,”said Eihcra as he got a good grip of Archie’s arm.

“What are you doing. Dinner is in 3 minutes and it is Spaghetti and Meatball Monday, also it is my turn to set the table and AAAAAAA,”screamed Archie as he fell on the ground of the ground of Bizarro World. Archie couldn’t see because it was pitch black.

“Is it midnight already. Oh, I’m so going to get grounded…..”Archie’s voice trailed off as he saw the town was upside with the sky at his feet and the ground in the sky and fell asleep from all of that screaming.

 

 

 

“Go sleep. It is 7pm,”Eihcra yelled at Archie as he sat up in confusion, but since he is in Bizzaro World, so he woke up and saw the most ugliest girl he has ever seen.

“Good bye Yttak. This isn’t Archie,”Eihcra said while gazing at her ugliness.  She was wearing the opposite of Katty’s closet

 

 

 

He got to the portal, when all of a sudden Eihcra yelled

“Guards, later!”

Kling, kling, kling

The sounds of the guards terrified Archie, but still weirded him out. But the blue and green portal was still open, but he wanted to use his power’s. But Archie through himself into the portal and then he found himself in his world.

 

 

 

He saw Katty in a room filled with Wonder Woman. A Wonder Woman bed, a Wonder Woman poster, a Wonder Woman mirror, and a teddy bear wearing a Wonder Woman costume. He looked into the mirror and did not see himself. He panicked and heard footsteps becoming louder and louder and louder. The doorknob turned he crawled into the bed when all of a sudden.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY BED!”Katty saw him even though he was invisible, or is he? As he saw the beautiful Katty in her Wonder Woman nightgown with Wonder Woman slipper and a Wonder Woman bow in her and everything Wonder Woman. He was afraid his crush was going to beat him up for breaking in her room, but he was relieved that she was talking to her 3 year old brother who was chewing on her Wonder Woman action figures.

“MOOOOOOOOMMMMMM, Toby is using my Wonder Woman action figures as a chewing toy, again!”Katty was furious as to what her brother did, for the 12 time that same day. Archie got out of the room and straight to his house and he became uninvisible.

 

 

 

He saw his parents coming downstairs for dinner.

“Hi Archie. It is Taco Tuesday. Ready son?”Archies parents asked at the same time.

Archie smiled and said,”Yes I am”

After he had dinner he went to sleep and he dreamt about the things that happened to him that day. What happened to Eihcra, why was he invisable for 10 minutes, and what up with that Yttak girl and why is shy so ugly.

 

 

 

The next day at school, Katty went up to Archie to be his partner for assignments, played with him at recess, walked home with him (bleh), and said that she liked him (double bleh). Then the weirdest thing happened, She was flying with him.

“What is happening?”Katty was shocked to the site of her feet in mid air.

“My powers, they transferred to you while still connected to me.

 

 

10 years later, Archie ended up with Katty and Eihcra ended up with Yttak and both humans and bizzaro’s lived happily ever after (with unusual super powers)

      Oscar and Alphonse

 

November 18, 2005,

Miami, Florida,

 

My name is Oscar Williams. I’m 12 years old. I live in New Orleans. I go to Northridge Middle School. 3 of my brothers go to Northridge High School. The other 1 go to my school. I have 4 brothers, Noah (16), Liam (15), Jacob (14), and Mason (13). All of them are mean to me, except for Mason. He helps me with my homework while the rest play football, he tutors me in math and language arts while the rest watch WWE. But one day, it all changed. This is the story of how I meet Alphonse.

I remember it like it was yesterday. The next day, after school me and Mason got picked by Noah, Liam, and Jacob in Noah’s 1980 station wagon. It had fake wood on the side and yellow almost everywhere.

“Hey loser. Get in the back, NOW!”yelled Noah like a tiger to us.

I yelled back, “OOOKKKKAAAAAYYYYY. You don’t have to yell.”

Noah gave use the big eyes and I knew exactly what would happen if we didn’t, so we got in the car before he could say it again. As me and Mason got in the car, Noah put some bags in the back.

“What’s all this?”I asked Noah.

“None of your business loser’s,”screeched Noah louder than a eagle.

 

 

 

We got home when I found a caterpillar on the grass of our front lawn, so I picked it up and got it inside before my brother’s saw it.

“Mom, can I keep him. PLEASE?! I will do better in school. I’ll get A+++ instead of an A++.”I begged my mom to keep the caterpillar.

“Fine, only if you feed him, water him, and make sure your brother’s don’t touch him,”blabbed my mom.

When I finally got away from my mom and escaped to the wonderful island called my room. Even though I live with 4 brother’s, I still get my own room. It has my favorite color, PINK, I have a pink bunkbed with a bed on the top and a desk on the bottom. My desk has a 1980’s computer with a binder full of study sheet’s, school books and a caterpillar cage with food and water and everything a caterpillar needs, a big book shelf full of ‘Time Warp Trio’ books, and a super big bean-bag chair next to my ,and big mirror with a hem lace on the edges.

“I’ll name you, Alphonse. Yeah. Welcome to your new home Alphonse, I’m Oscar!” I explained to my new pet.

“Hey loser. Whaddya got there, a pet? So you’re some kind of kind of, FREAK! Hahaha,” laughed Noah.

“Hahaha,” copied Liam and Jacob.

Then I saw Mason.

‘Should I join in, or stand up for my sister?’

Then I saw Mason come up to me and did the unthinkable.

 

 

 

“Hahahaha loser. So you’re a caterpillar person, that means you must be a caterpillar,”Mason said to (for some reason) empress his older brothers.

I was sad and confused, so I asked Mason,“What was that for,”

“Come on Oscar, don’t be such a wet blanket.” said Mason loud and proud.

“Besides, they finally like me!” whispered Mason as soft as a mouse.

I was so mad at him for being something he’s not so I yelled,“I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY FRIEND AND MY BROTHER, but I was wrong!”

 

 

 

The next day at school,

“What was all of that yesterday Oscar. It’s like you hate me now?”Mason related to the ‘incident’ yesterday.

I, on the hand, didn’t say a word. I was very frustrated at him. The only time he was mean to me, (and not trying to impress Noah, Liam, and Jacob), was when we were 3 years old and I took his books by accident.

“Why aren’t you responding to me. What did I do wrong!?”Mason yelled at me.

Ring

As I heard the bell I told my brother,

“Sorry, I need to go to math and I do not want to be tardy,”

 

 

 

When I got home, I went straight to my to my room to do my homework, when all of a sudden, I got a email from the national weather center saying,

In 1 week, there will be a severe hurricane will stick the gulf coast. So people who live in New Orleans, Georgia, Mississippi, or around that area, be prepared.

I was so afraid I had to tell my mom, so I went down stairs to see my parents look at me with the sad eyes. Then they told me something,

“The hurricane will hit Cuba, and your family do not have enough money to protect their houses,”My mom told me.

My dad called my brothers down stairs. As they came down, my mom started to tear up. I told them about the storm and our family in Cuba. Since I was born in Cuba (It was a family vacation) I was really worried, but my brothers didn’t care that I was sad.

 

Ten minutes later,

“Oh Alphonse, what am I supposed to do. The hurricane is going to hit my home country in 1 week, my brother/best friend betrays me for our BROTHERS!!!”I cried to Alphonse about my problems. Of course Alphonse said nothing.

Then I went to get ready for bed, thinking about what the hurricane is going to do. All of that worrying made me fall asleep.

 

 

The next morning,

“Morning sweety,”my mom said doing her work on our marble kitchen island.

I was not in the mood to talk so I said,“Morning mom”

Then I saw the Fabulous Foursome a.k.a Noah, Liam, Jacob, and backstabber (Mason).

“Awesome shot dude, Radical man, Total score bro, See you on the court,”they screamed down stairs.

I rolled my eyes and checked the clock, 6:45am, so I ran upstairs to my room to get my school uniform. White and black. I saw our yellow school pull up to the bus stop, so I ran downstairs and got on the bus and sat next to my other best friend Ashley. Ashley was the 3rd smartest kid in school. I was the 2nd, and mister betrayer was the 1st.

 

 

 

When we got off the bus, I went to the principals office to ask her to switch my locker to be away from my brother.

“I’m sorry, Ms.Williams, but you have the closest locker to your homeroom. And I can’t do anything about it. I’m sorry,”Principal Rabinoff said.

I was very disappointed to hear that but I kept my chin up and said,”That is okay Principal Rabinoff,”

 

 

 

After the talk with my principal, I went to my locker before the warning bell could ring, but then all of a sudden Ashley came up to me panting.

“I’m sorry to say, but Mason made me, but our older brothers came. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!”yelled Ashley as she ran for her life.

Then out of nowhere, I saw Noah come up to me with the ‘mad’ face.

“OSCAR, YOU COME HERE, NOW,”screamed Noah. Then he did the unthinkable, he hugged me. But I didn’t care.

 

 

 

The following Saturday evening, me and my family were in the basement with all the things we needed to survive. I brought Alphonse with us. I could feel the vibration of the hurricane. We all held on to each other. I looked at Alphonse, he became weak and gray. As soon as I could tell my parents, Alphonse turned into Alphonse’s! The hurricane was over and a lot of houses did not get destroyed, we were one of them.

1 week later, we were all in the backyard playing. I took Alphonse’s outside. I knew it was time to send them back. The caterpillars wiggled in her hand, spelling out “goodbye”.

 

The End

                                     Another place, Another time

 

One day at a the ‘Ohio Ice Cream Shop’ 4 boys, John McShoul, Cyle Suisal, Masey Smith , and Adam Smith, were each having a vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup, whipped cream, caramel, and chopped nuts with extra sprinkles.

“I found something about a castle at sea in school,”said Masey.

He took out the book with the castle in it. John and Kyle thought it was a joke, but Adam believed him.

“Were are going,”voiced Adam.

That afternoon, the boy’s went to Adam’s garage to build a boat

“Why are we here again, because I didn’t want to go,”confused said John

“Were here because we are going to find the castle at sea, even if you don’t want to go,” shrieked Adam

The boys were in the garage building a ship so they can set out to sea and find the castle at sea, when all of a sudden, Adam and Masey’s father came outside to see what they have done,

“So you’re building a boat to a magical castle, oh boy,”sighed the father and he walked away, disappointed

The amber haired Adam got oil on his rocket shirt and pants because he was shocked that his father was not happy at his work.

“Are you okay,”asked John

“I’m fine, just put more oil in it” ,sighed Adam

The next day, the boys went to the Ohio river. Adam and Masey were wearing his navy outfit, John was wearing his blue shirt and khaki pants, and Cyle was wearing his traveling outfit his mom made and a backpack.  Cyle’s mother drove them to the river before she went to her party,

“Thank you,”yelled the Smith brother’s

“Have fun kids, bye sweety be home by 6,”said the mom

The boys were heading to the river when they saw a gray cart and a track to the castle.

“Weird, but helpful. Let’s take it,”Masey suggested.

So the boys took the track and put the boat on the cart and skeeeeeeew the cart went  flying on the track. 20 minutes later, they hit a sea storm.

“Hang on tight you guys,” yelled Adam over the loud thunder.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA,”screamed the other boys.

The boys were holding on to the boat.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA,”yelled the boys again.

Adam remembered something his mother told him when he was younger ‘If there was an answer, you’d find it there’

If there was an answer, he’d find it there.

“OH MY GOSH! Were here!”yelled the Smith boys.

The boys were amused to see what the have found. In front of them they saw 20 pounds of gems, jewels, and gold.

“This is enough to help our town!”said young Masey in shock.

20 minutes later, the boys were on there way home carrying the 20 pounds of riches home. There was not a single sea storm in site.

“I guess nature loves us now or something,” said John in surprise.

When the 4 boys came home, they all went to town hall.

“Well I’ll be. There just might be 10,000 dollars in there! That’s enough to build more houses, schools, offices, and you know what!” blabbed the mayor.

And that’s the story of the 4 boys that helped their town.
