A boy named Perceus Jackson (or Percy) learns that he is a half blood , half mortal and half god. His father is Poseidon or/and Neptune, God of Sea. Zeus’, God of Gods,most powerful weapon, Master Bolt has been taken and Percy is the prime suspect because no one knew Poseidon had a son. Percy’s mom gets taken to Hades’ lair. Percy trains at a camp where Half bloods like him spend in the summer. He gets a quest from the Oracle. He takes 2 friends, a half blood named, Annabeth, daughter of Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, and Grover, a satyr. It wasn’t easy getting to LA ( because that is where you could get to “all the way downstairs”) The fought many creatures like Medusa. On the way to LA, they met Ares, God of War. When they get to Hades’ Lair and talk to Percy’s uncle. Hades doesn’t have the Master Bolt, even his most powerful weapon , the “Helm of Darkness” has been stolen. Percy looks in the backpack Ares gave him. There it was, the lightning bolt. They escape “downstairs” and have a “talk” with Ares. Percy and Ares fight. They learn that it wasn’t Ares, it was their friend, Luke, son of Hermes, God of Message or “communication” Messengers. Medicine. Travelers, merchants, THIEVES. He was working for Kronos, King of all Titans, also known as grandfather of Percy. They didn’t catch Luke, but they will find him next summer. Percy’s mom got returned since Percy recovered the Helm of Darkness after fighting Ares. Percy wanted to go on this quest because of his mom.

The Invention of Hugo Cabret
A boy named Hugo Cabaret has to rebuild a machine that was built by magicians. He gets help from a girl, Isabel, that is the god daughter of an old man that stole Hugo’s book that would help him rebuild. Hugo steals Isabel’s necklace when Hugo finished the automaton. The necklace started the cogs and clocks in the automaton. It draws a picture. It had Isabel’s godfather’s name, Georges Melies. Hugo and Isabel soon figure out that the godfather, Papa Georges was a magician and a movie maker. Hugo knew that the picture (That the automaton drew.) would save him, and it did. He was adopted by the Melies and gave him a life.
