The Robbery

One day in August 23, 1965 a young man was at Giant. The young man’s name was Josiah Njoroge. Josiah was 24. He was in isle 3 looking for chips and salsa and other snacks for an upcoming town party. Out of nowhere there was a loud CRASH! Josiah quickly looked around.

He saw in isle 2 there was a man with a gun! So Josiah hid behind a shelf. The man wore a hockey mask over a black hoodie. The strange man couldn’t see Josiah.

Josiah figured it was a robbery! He called 911 as fast as he could. When the cops arrived everybody was being held hostage on the floor. It was so much chaos! The robber shot 97 cops 1 by 1 until he finally ran out of bullets. So he started running outside. Josiah got in his car and started chasing him. The criminal was running so fast!

Josiah realized there was a cliff up ahead. The guy came to a sudden stop! Josiah slowly stepped out of the car and advanced toward the stranger. He tried to calm the man down. It was too late. The man jumped of the cliff! Josiah saw that he dropped his ID. His name was Elijah Njoroge! Josiah found his long lost brother but he died. Josiah told everybody but nobody cared. The town soon had a party but Josiah just sat down at home thinking about his brother. Josiah was sad so he never had a party again.
