hatchet is the book  im reading for reading group. I think its a good book because I like survival and thats what the book is about. Its about a boy named Brian Robeson and his parents divorced. He was taking a plane to his fathers house and the pilot had a heart attack and died. He was steering and crashed the plane in the water in the middle of a forest. He has to survive through night and day when animals that hurt him in night come in his lean-to. He found a way to build a fire and that kept all the animals and bugs away. He called the fire his friend because it protected him and gave him warmth and light. Thats all i read up to for now but im reading more.
