Biomass is plant matter and dried animal waste. Produced from: vegetable oil, animal fats, recycled restaurant, and other byproducts of plants, agricultural, and forestry processing or industrial and human waste products. We can use wood, crops, garbage, landfill gas, and/or alcohol fuels. Biomass cost $0.12 per kw/hr. It can be burned for fuel and we can burn some biomass for heat energy. But it emits some pollution and it increases nitrogen oxides an air pollutant emissions. Biomass is a similar to fossil fuels but biomass is a renewable energy source.
