Hydro VS geothermal
Geo is the earth’s heat deep in the middle of the earth. It is also its hot water and steam from the earth’s core. Geo is heat and thermal is steam.
Hydro is captured by the movement of water. It uses turbines and transformer, control gate, generator, power house. Geo cost 10 cents per hour and hydro is 9 so hydro is better.
Comparison
I did Geothermal and I did solar. I like solar it cost more however the solar power plants produce electricity with the suns heat renewable. They transfer heat into water in a storage tank. The geothermal only uses the well.
Heat fluids –to high temperatures to a turbine to generate electricity. Solar has two ways for energy, solar is a renewable energy source. It is pollution it lasts 15-30. Also how solar power is better for the pollution it requires large physical space for the PV cell panels. It needs sunny weather, supplement energy may be needed in low sunlight areas.
For the geothermal it has water panels that produce turbine produce water energy unlike solar energy it just needs sun to produce the roller coasters. Geothermal is water energy and solar is heat from the sun for electricity.Goethermal generates it from the earth’s core.
Geothermal is ten cents an hour and solar thermal is 16-25 cents.
Solar is the sun’s ray’s solar radiation. Geothermal has 97% less aside rain. Geothermal is found in the Pacific Ocean.
Solar power vs. hydro power
Solar energy is better than hydro power. Solar is better because even though on days that there is no sun the energy still works in the house. It still works because the solar panels keeps the suns heat inside it. The generator makes electricity. The costs of the solar panels is 25 cents for the solar panels. Solar energy is renewable. Solar energy does not produce air or water or gas so it is good for the environment. Hydro is bad hydro powers movement from the water. Another name for it is hydroeleetric
Biomass is good for the environment. Biomass only cost 12 cents pare hour. Plan biomass is renewable because we plant it. A large waste from manufacturing. Biomass can help reduce our use of other nonrenewable energy sources. Biomass is a good and bad for the environment biomass is good when you use it for worth but it’s bad for the air.
Fossil Fuels vs. Wind energy
I pick wind energy over fossil fuels because wind energy is a clean energy fossil fuels are a dirty type of energy. Fossil fuels make it easier to start global warming it can also start acid rain. Wind energy is cheap it cost ten dollars. While fossil fuels keep on growing. The stronger the coal the stronger the energy and the stronger the wind turbines the stronger the energy. But the stronger the coal the worse for the environment. There are three forms of fossil fuels coal, oil and smoke. This pollutes the environment and wind energy is not effecting the environment!
Biomass is a better energy source than wind. Wind costs $0.10 – $0.33 per kw/hr. on the other hand biomass costs $0.12 per kw/hr. Wind turbines can kill birds and/or bats and turbines take a lot of room. Wind energy is a renewable energy source but it needs at least 12 to 14 wind strength. Each turbine must function flawlessly however biomass burns plant matter and animal waste, which is much easier. Wood, crops, garbage, landfill gas, and alcohol fuels are types of biomass instead of one resource to make wind energy. This is why I chose biomass.
Geothermal is better than solar because geothermal is less expensive than solar. For example solar products go up 10 years, solar cost $0.16, geothermal power plants don`t burn fuels to generate electrity. Unlike solar, photovalic are solar systems. Geothermal doesn`t have to use electronics, it’s a renewable energy source. As a result solar energy doesn’t work on a rainy day, for instance geothermal works on a rainy day. Supplement energy may be needed in low sunlight areas.
Since I pick Biomass over Geothermal because Biomass is better for the environment Biomass cost more however biomass is reusable there’s are not. Plant biomass, such as wood, corn, and sugar cane that we plant. We burn biomass and fossil fuse but fossil fuse is wears for the environment plant biomass is renewable because we plant it such as other nonrenewable energy’s like fossil fuse. Most energy’s aren’t renewable but biomass is.
As you know solar power is energy from the sun.But it doesn’t genorate energy at all times.Most solar power plants are located in California, Arizona, and Nebraska.solar power cost 16-25 cents per hour and needs solar panels.Solar energy is used for heat and electricity.Solar power is non-polluting.Solar power is renewable.Solar panels last 15-30 years.But the panels extremly hot beams kill insects and birds if they fly into them.
Solar energy is made out of the sun. People can get it from solar panels and solar energy can be used by the sunlight and the rays from the sun. The solar panels will last about 15-30 years in till you have to get a new panels. The cost for the solar p.v. costs only $0.16 and the solar thermal only cost $0.25. The bad thing is that the panels can kill birds and bugs because the heat can shot them. Solar energy can be used for buildings, and framers can use them for their crops. It the sun is covered the panels will use the heat that it really have in it.
